I was just coming to post this myself.

I'm not surprised in the least. Is anyone really fooled by this? It reeked of desperation but then again, I feel that way about most of the things the Khardashians are involved in.

I am not surprised but I thought they would have had a kid or two before ending things. I didn't predict it would be over before the end of the year even though there have already been infidelity rumors on his part. I watched the Bora Bora episodes while sick one weekend and the chemistry wasn't there.

I gave them about 9 months, so I'm not surprised at all. They didn't even seem to like each other all that much during the wedding planning.

I was about to come post this too. While I'm not at all surprised... I did expect them to milk it for a few more months, and maybe pop out a kid before doing a ridiculously public divorce. Ugh. She couldn't have been serious about this marriage to begin with.

I'm not surprised.  All the mean little comments they made to eachother.. so much of that was true.  Like during the wedding planning, Kim and her mom were making all the decisions and shutting Kris down, or lying to him behind his back.  I don't know if it was "just for TV" but it never seemed like they were 'so in love'.

she was serious about that $10 million wedding. JUST the wedding. i think she took a page from the bebe brides and didn't realize there's life after the big day...the marriage is a whole other thing

This just seems like a very well put together plan. I imagine that it was all fake, their entire relationship. They are money grubing fame whores who will do anything to keep their name in the press and get attention. It is just sad to me that the entire family chooses to go along with it including her younger half sisters. What kind of role model are you for your younger siblings if you fake relationships and marriages for the sake of money?

 I won't ever watch anything Kardashian related again. It is just sad and pathetic.

She paid absolutely ZERO for this wedding. Not one single penny. It was all free to them for the publicity. They were expected to make millions (and probably did) selling pictures, interviews, etc.

They probably held out long enough to get the last check from all that. Now they will sell more interviews for millions. By coincedence (sp?) or not??, her mom has a new book coming out tomorrow.

I honestly thought it would probably be a year though. I assumed Kris would be under contract with them that long. 

HUGE eyeroll. It's_shit like this that makes me even more angry that homosexual couples can't get married, but people like this can do whatever they want. "Sanctity" indeed. (But that's a whole other topic lol)

What a flippin' waste of money and time. They should be made to pay to charities what was spent on their wedding, especially if they didn't pay a cent for it, as part of the reparations in the divorce.

I just saw she made $18 million on the wedding...I am kind of surprised she didn't fake it for longer though, considering she's always so concerned about her brand and the Kardashian brand being associated with negativity.

Let's not forget that this was Kim's second wedding.  You would think that she would have learned a little something.  I'm not surprised at all and I really think it was all for show.  I think that the whole thing was expertly directed.  From the timing of the wedding, the guests, and now the timing of the divorce as well.

Sadly, I did watch the wedding special and you could tell that they didn't really love each other. The whole thing is disgusting. I know that the entire Kardashian fam are fake but Kim is just the worst in my opinion. And while I think Kris H. is a tool...he'll be better off without her high maintenance drama.

I totally agree with all PPs.  What a way to "spend" 10 million dollars.  I also think this was directed to keep at least Kim, if not all the Kardashian's relevant.  Because now they'll sell the story to People for a wad of money from Kim's perspective, and Kris H. will probably tell his side of the story, and write a tell all about how insane the family is for all the haters out there.  And then different family members will give interviews, ect.

 It's so sad that they couldn't fake this relationship and give people hope.  I really wish the hype around this family would go away.

This is my question.  Unless Kim really is worried about her name and reputation.  She may also want the divorce so she can be on the hunt for husband #3.  What I'm seeing with this is just another bebe who wanted the wedding not the marriage.
