i was stalking your blog and i made the butternut squash soup the other day -- oh dear heavens, it is fantastic! we've been eating it all week, perfect for the chilly nights we've been having. oh and i did it with the croutons too, since i am a bread fiend. great idea. thank you!

I'm glad you liked it! I love that soup. I've made it twice now. Did you do it with the smoked cheddar? I love how it makes it taste like there is bacon in it, it makes my vegetarian-skeptical husband want to eat it.
