Need a cleaning service
I'm hosting a bridal shower at my house on Saturday, and as much as I like to think I am wonder woman, I think I need some help getting the house super duper clean in a short time frame.
Would this one-time cleaning be something for Merry Maids, or is there another service that you have used that you like?

I was recently in the same situation. The research I did showed the chain cleaning companies to be $200+.
You are better off trying to find an independant cleaning person.
Where do you live. I know some of the ladies on the board have cleaning ladies they can recommend.

I found them off of Angie's List and the other reviews were pretty good as well. They've been able to come on about 4 days notice before and may be able to work with less notice, I've just never tried.
I got a recommendation from Y for someone that has done her house a few times before.
I don't have the info with me - but ask her at pick-up. It's her handyman's wife.
