Good grief, it's NOVEMBER

Why didn't time fly this fast when I was slogging my way through school? I adore the fall and all that comes with it, but I wish it didn't zoom by so quickly.

Time is flying while I'm slogging through school
Yay November (getting closer to having one semester down!) and Yikes November (Finals! Unprepared! Commence search for summer job! Snow!). I have mixed feelings.
It does go too quickly! I actually had to talk to my MIL about Thanksgiving plans already. Too soon.
Maybe law school is more interesting than high school and undergrad.

Good morning.
I survived Scary Movie Night. We watched Paranormal Activity. It was pretty creepy, but not terrifying.
Thanksgiving... ugh. I kind of want to stay home for the first time ever. My family would come to our house if we invited them. But MIL & FIL wouldn't come. And if they didn't come, they'd be all alone on Thanksgiving, and then they'd be sad, and then they'd tell B that they're sad, and then he would feel sad. Sooooo... B wants to go up north, per normal.
I can't believe November is already here! I'm thankful I started my Christmas shopping back in the summer....well, at least for Bri I did. LOL! It's a little less I have to worry about.
Last night I expressed my frustrations with Berger on twitter. Today GM Customer Service contacted me about it. It wasn't my intention for that to happen but it may save me writting a strongly worded letter to Berger. LOL!
I kind of want to just stay home for turkey day too. My parents expressed they would be ok not going anywhere. I know if we didn't go to my parents we would have to go to Ben's. I'm thinking maybe we can get out of it though. We'll see.
That sounds like a wonderful idea. Perhaps we should do that.
I have 2 birthday's to celebrate this month one of them being DH's 35th.
I'm losing hang out spots for the girls. Meijer on K-zoo got rid of their little seating area. On Sat mornings when I needed to get the girls out of the house for a bit so Brian could get work done around the house,I would get the girls a donut and we would eat it in the alcove area and then look at toys.
We would also go to Centerpointe mall and play. Afterwards they would like to walk down to the indoor skate park and watch the skaters. It was just announced that they closed.
Fun! Are you doing anything big to celebrate your DH's?
My brother's birthday is this month. I bought him knives. For some reason, giving knives as a birthday gift kind of makes me laugh -- it seems odd. But I know he's in need of some good kitchen cutlery.
I want to stay at home on Thanksgiving and do our own thing, too. And I know it will cause drama with my MIL. I told mike that if his mom hosts the extended family dinner, we should go. But if it is at an aunt's house or at grandma's, let's skip it. We'll see.
We spend so many holidays with our families. It is time for us to find some more holiday time for just our little family. This is why I like New Year's Eve so much. I know that it will just be us. No driving all over town trying to fit visits in. Just good times with Henry and Mike.
I can't believe how far you are! Baby is just zooming right along.
Try the coffee shop at our corner, across from Real Food. They have a small, quiet area with a few toys that C loves to play in while I surf my phone, then we share a (giant) muffin. We've had lunch there several times, too.

GVSU: Breton Village Mall is a good one. The koi are fun, and there's a seating area to enjoy a snack.
We had Henry's appointment this morning, and all he was scheduled for was the flu shot, and no fever for 4 days made that okay. After that we walked around the Meijer Gardens. Beautiful day for that. But I've been fighting Henry's sick, and now I'm beat.
Wow. Does that seem a little surreal yet? The having a second baby part, I mean?

I kind of have to come up with plan a,b and c. It all depends on moods and $ and if the biz is busy. I would like to get the car detailed since some kind of funky smell appeared out of no where the last week and the car also needs new snow tires. For his 30th I throw a small surprise party which I would consider doing again but I'm not sure I could get all his friends in one place again. He hasn't really had a good b-day since his 30th due to a$$hole father and illness so it would be nice if I could make this one nice.
Say what!! Did you just announce this just the other week?
Time flies. Have your narrowed done your selection of names yet.
Side note for all: How early do you tell people your preg? Not asking b/c I'm am or going to be but recently I've had a few people IRL announce they are preg, and it seems a little early IMO to announce since it's was so early in the 1st trimester.
We waited to share the news with #1 for a while. 12... 15 weeks, I think?
With #2, we started sharing pretty quickly: 6 weeks or maybe a little after. It is early, but if I lost the pregnancy, I would want support from the people we told. Everyone has an opinion on when it's right to tell, but there is no right.
Paranormal Activity 3? Or the first one? If it was #3, MY COUSIN HAS A FILM CREDIT IN THAT!!!
She also has a film credit in Real Steel, which we saw on Sunday night. Can I just say how very cool it is to see the name of one of your favorite real-life people roll across the big screen? It was even cooler than I anticipated it would be. So proud of her
Definitely more all-consuming. Well, maybe not more all-consuming than high school when you factor in the social aspect. It's really a lot like high school in many ways.
The thing is that it takes so.much.time. For example, I'll start working on a paper and look up and an hour has passed but I feel like I've written two sentences.
I have to agree that it's interesting though, because for all of the time I'm putting in, I am never bored. Pretty much every other emotion there is, but never bored. So there's that.
The first one.
That's very cool for your cousin, though!
Now that you've seen the first one, you should treat B to a second horror movie and go see #3 and watch the credits
We told our parents and close friends super early (between 5-7 weeks).
I definitely would have needed their support if something happened.
T was having some major breathing issues last night/today.
Instead of a flu shot visit, we got a sick visit.
We are now the owners of a nebulizer. Also, unexpectedly found out he has an ear infection in each ear.
It's kinda stressful being a mom.
On top of all the other crap going on, I need to find T his 3rd daycare of the year.
Rough night and day, Mol, I'm sorry.
On the plus side, you'll never have to blow up a balloon or inflatable pool toy again - just use the nebulizer.
I hope he's feeling better soon, and that tonight is restful. Do you have any friends who also have nebulizers for their kids? I know we're not using the "A" word yet, but just in case, it might be good to have a mom mentor for that. My sister, and a few of my mom friends with asthmatics, had a rough first few months with the whole deal (the lost sleep, the "do we take him/her in to the doc now/the effects of preschool 'roid rage... Willa seems to have asthma-lite, so no neb. here.
