Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

linkedin anonymous viewer question
I have had a couple of anonymous linkedin members look at my profile on linkedin recently.
I find that odd. I haven't looked into it yet, but was considering and hoping that I can make my profile private if at all possible to anyone who lists themselves as anonymous.
It's making me re-think how dangerous it could be putting all of my work history out there for just anyone to view. I didn't know that you could be an anonymous member and I thought if someone viewed it, at least I would know who has viewed it. Not the case.
Any thoughts on this?

I got my last job when the president of the company directly emailed me based upon my profile.
Making it private kind of defeats the purpose, doesn't it?
