Re: Kim K poll
I do too.
I live in a state that is considering a constitutional amendment banning gay marriage (it is already illegal but this would put it in the state constitution proper) and happens to be where the groom is originally from too. The people who support the amendment say that allowing gay individuals to marry degrades the institution of marriage. I have 5 words for them...
Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries
It makes me so very unhappy that the supporters would be perfectly fine with two people marrying for publicity but not for love.
Stepping off my soapbox now.
I totally agree, witty.
The ease of getting a divorce is what defies the sanctity of marriage (or whatever their argument is). Not that I am saying divorce isn't necessary sometimes, but after 72 days?!?! Seriously?! They never even gave it a shot!
Anyone who married someone out of a mutual love and respect for each other would last longer than 72 days, at least seek counseling and make an attempt to save the marriage.

Sorry...don't know why I can no longer get pictures to post. I'm doing something wrong and can't figure out what!
Anyway...I need the right wing to stop talking about the sanctity of marriage until they can figure out how to make those sanctity rules apply to us heterosexuals too.
