I have company coming into town on Friday.  I have some stuff planned, but also am looking for suggestions.  Activities marked with a * were requested by the visitors.

Friday -

History museum for the costume exhibition

Dinner in St. Pete*

First Friday*

Saturday or Sunday -

Aquarium*

Harry Potter World*

 

Any other suggestions?

Ditto Lauren. When we have FIL and his wife down we go to Wheaton Island or Heritage Village if the weather is nice. We usually opt for dinner in downtown Palm Harbor or Dunedin.

I don't know if you've looked already, but Wizarding World of Harry Potter is only a small corner of Islands of Adventures at Universal.  Its not an all day thing by itself. I went pretty soon after it opened and it was mega crowded and it still wasn't all day.  You can enjoy the rest of IoA though.  Just wanted you to know. It is totally awesome too.

Thanks for the tip, Kim.  I figured if  we went we'd do all of IoA if we can.

It's adults only weekend. 

Weedon Island sounds like fun, too.  I forgot about that.  Maybe do a quick hike.

When we have visitors, we usually go to the beach.  Also, if you look on tbo.com there are usually listings for events and festivals.  H and I have been trying to hit up more of those; we went to a pumpkin festival a few weeks ago which was cute.
