Cheap gift to pair with handmade bookmark?

Anyone have any ideas?

For all of SO's aunts/uncles I'm doing homemade since there are so many. For the uncles I'm doing a spice rub and BBQ towel.
For the aunts I want to do a cloth bookmark and something else.

ETA: I was actually thinking about doing the same: embroidered bookmark and either a book or a gift card.

Little reading lap blankets out of inexpensive fleece (don't need to know how to sew) or flannel. I think a $5-10 GC to Amazon or BN would be nice, too, though- and certainly less work.

You can do the knot blankets. You just take two squares of fleece, cut a square out of the corners and then slits every inch or two down the sides. Knot together. Voila. I think they sell kits at like JoAnn's and Wal-Mart* if you don't want to buy the fabric separately. But fleece is on sale at JoAnn's too.

*Wal-Mart with fabric should have them, I don't know about the ones without. I'm actually not sure about either of them now.
