Need hugs ~ Fractured my foot & big fight with boss
Hi ladies -
Yesterday was the day from he!! ~ two of the
executives confronted me (separately) about my work schedule and
asked when I was coming back full time. It got ugly. I cried the
whole time (so freakin' unprofessional but I feel they crossed the line
and were asking some personal questions and they wouldn't take me
telling them no for an answer). One of them said to give an
explaination or I was basically out of a job. It was bad and I am
appalled at how it was handled (I have meeting with HR next week to
discuss)
Well I got up to walk out of one of the VP's offices and
my ankle/foot just gave out and I feel straight to the floor. I tried
to get up but couldn't feel my foot. After two tries I finally got up
and went back to my office. Last night I iced it at home and it kept
swelling and turning blue/purple. I hate doctors but knew something was
wrong, it wasn't just a sprain. Well I just got back from urgent care
and it's fractured! I get to wear the most horrendous-boot-shoe
contraption for 4-6 weeks. Ugh. And it's my right foot so Moody gets to
be my chauffer for awhile. Poor guy! LOL
Seriously. When is it my turn for something postive?

Brandy, I am so sorry you are going through this. Your bosses sound like real jerks, especially for asking you personal questions.

I hate when the boss crosses the line like that. It puts you in such a terrible position.
