Door Prize Giveaways

Every year at our company Holiday Party we give door prizes away. In years past, we've had everyone sign in and just drew those names. This year though, we want to do something more creative. We've thought about saying things like "the first person to bring me a ___ wins the prize." We're worried though that with near 200 people, someone might bet hurt sprinting to the sage. We've also thought about popping balloons with slips of paper noting the prize won, but the logistics of blowing up that many balloons and employees carrying them around seemed complicated and a little juvenile. Can anyone think of anything we could use in place of the balloons? Are there other fun ways you can think of to give away prizes?

Maybe raffle tickets are the way to go here if you don't think the balloon idea will work. I personally like the balloon idea as a 30-something. We don't get to do fun juvenile things very often (in public, anyway) at our age, and it's fun when those opportunities arise. That is just my opinion of course. But hope this helps.

Can everyone be handed some sort of box with a favor in it as they walk in to the party?  Like fancy chocolates perhaps.

Everyone is instructed to open the box at the same exact time.

And the "winning" boxe(s) will have a special paper inside that says WINNER.

This way, everyone walks away with at least a treat.  HTH.
