Thank you for all of your well wishes. I'm doing well and have been up and walking around since yesterday. Everyone can't believe how well I'm doing. My sweet girl is just amazingly beautiful (maybe I'm biased but she is SO CUTE!) She is in NICU they are trying to get her breathing better. She's on a ventilator however they are hoping she can get off that tomorrow. Our hearts are sad that she is hooked up to soo many tubes and what not and that we can't hold her, but we look forward to her getting better! They said she would probably only be in here for 2 weeks so we're hoping for that,
Erik has been such an amazing man and I"m so lucky to have him. He's been such a great form of support for me. Even after I barfed all over him after my C Section, he just stood there holding the bedpan without even flinching. LOL
I will be discharged on Sunday. I'm hoping I can hold her before I leave here.
I'll post pics as soon as we upload them!
Re: Hello out there!
Oh Jayme! I am so so thrilled for you and so glad everyone is doing so well. Can't wait to see more pics. Keep us posted on everything!

HIYA! I'm so happy for you guys! I'm glad that Casey is doing well and getting such wonderful care. :-) Good job for getting up and walking around already. It's true what they say, the sooner you get up and move the sonner you'll feel better - just don't over do it.
I don't remember where my DH was after I was moved to a regular room, but there were like 10 people in there and poor Monika was the one holding the puke plate for me. For that I will be eternally grateful. Aren't those drugs wonderfully terrible?

HEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so happy for you!
She is beautiful! I know the NICU can be tough - my guys were there for 26 days. Your sweet baby just has to bake outside of Momma for a little longer.
If you need to vent or just an email hug, you know where to find me!

XOXOXO
Congrats Jayme! I can't wait to see pix of your wee one! here's wishes that she gets stronger everyday and can come home soon.
I'm glad you are recovering so well from your c-section! did your doctors wrap you in that elastic girdle? Keep wearing it! I had a pretty easy time recovering from my c-section, too, but I took it off sooner that I probably should and put it back on a week later. you'll really appreciate the back support if you keep it on for the first 2 full weeks (it hasnt been that long already has it? i cant keep track of time) anyway, speedy recovery to you!
