Weekend Plans?
I'm going to make some of my old dresses into maxi skirts since we'll have some warm weather next week and finish a couple of small projects. I also plan to play Kinect with DH, and make him take me out since he's worked the past 10 nights straight and I had the worst medical test yet yesterday. I think we both deserve some R&R.
Traumatic doesn't even begin to describe this test and the Doctor barely explained it before I had to go in for it. I was also told it would be administered by a Surgeon and it was done by an RN. I have nothing against RNs, but really with something this invasive and no sedation it needs a surgeon (especially if they tell you one will be present).
Speaking of my vent from my day yesterday. Does anyone want to do "Open Letter Thursdays" to vent or AW? We could start it next week.

My weekend is trying to get the house all cleaned, ok well I am multi-tasking and doing it while I am working, but still
...getting it ready for our first real guests coming tomorrow. Hang out with them, and then Sunday..not sure hopefully sleep in.

My weekend plans are to plan my month's menu. I need to figure out what I want to buy when I go shopping. I always shop for a month at a time.
Also my kids are driving me insane today. it is a no school day as end of quarter and all. Also I washed my shirt I am wearing right now with my swimsuit and i can smell chlorine on it. ICK. will be changing in a few.

Sorry things didn't go well - your DH definitely needs to take you out somewhere.
This weekend we'll be stringing the outdoor Christmas lights at my parents while it's still halfway decent out. I get to work all weekend, so yeah. Not really looking forward to it, but at least the paycheck'll be nice.
Thanks! That means a lot. DH was livid and told his boss he won't be missing appointments, which was OK since he knows everything.

Thanks! DH is already making plans. I think it includes my favorite restaurant in Columbus with the bartender who completely caters to my allergy and a trip to Outback in B-town where we have some friends working and a movie.
Christmas lights sound like they could be fun, but I don't envy anyone who has to work weekends. Weekends bring out the crazies. DH works every other weekend at the hospital and you wouldn't believe the cases that show up. Plus, everyone waits until the weekend to go to the ER making it insane. Hope it goes well!
Thanks! Saturdays are usually ok, it family fun day I'm not looking forward to tomorrow. DH's still curled up in a ball in bed, and the part of me that envies him wants to go poke him awake. I won't, but I want to, especially since Lola's curled up next to him and snoozing away, too - I'm the only awake one in the house. Boo.
