Is there a band or artist that everyone loves and you can not stand.

 

For me I have two Coldplay & the Red Hot Chili Peppers. I bring it up because they both just came on my radio back to back. That is a music nightmare for me.

I love music.  I really like Kayne, Joss Stone, John Mayer, Keith Urban, Chiddy Bang, Lupe Fiasco, Adele. The radio station in my area has started to play a poppy version of Adele's new song and I cannot stand it.  I also cannot stand Dave Matthews.

Hmm, I don't really listen to the radio these days, but . . .

This may date me, but I don't get the appeal of Dave Matthews Band. Not sure if they're even still together, but I always thought they were awful. In college, everyone seemed to love them. Green Day also bugs. And I totally hear Eva on Red Hot Chili Peppers--I have never liked them.

I agree about the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Dave Matthews Band. I don't know how people can stand listening to Britney Spears. She has a terrible voice and her music is autotuned to death. I have to change the station if she comes on the radio.

I agree I am NOT a fan of Britney Spears either.  However, I LOVE Dave Matthews Band.  I am a huge fan, and so is DH.  He has been lucky enough to see them a few times, and I hope sometime I get to do the same.

Definitely NOT a Brittney Spears fan either. Id rather listen to nails on a chalkboard. Lady Gaga annoys the crap out of me also. Her personality and most of her songs. Although her newer one isnt so bad.

Loves? Adele. I dont really "follow" artists though so its more like I like random songs by a ton of artists...and then still like to break out some stuff from when I was younger and more into music (ie Sublime, Eminem, Linkin Park, Blink 182, Gorillas, etc etc).

I hate most of the teeny bopper people, like Britney Spears, Justin Beiber, etc. I'm also not a huge fan of The Beetles. Sorry ladies.

I'm with Jess in that I like songs more than I like people or bands as a whole. I'm always disappointed when I buy CDs and really only like a few songs. Such a waste.

Ok I swear you must be reading my mind, I was going to ask this in the morning. Here are the top three bands/artists that everyone else seems to love but I can't stand:

1. Adelle

2. Maroone Five

3. The Fray

Honestly just thinking about their music gets me antsy and annoyed.
