So, I can't really feel my strings (the midwife curved them around my cervix, so it's possible that I just can't feel them.) but SO said that he could feel the IUD slipping out. If I were charting, I think I would be in my luteal phase (that comes at the end of your cycle, right?) I would have noticed if it were to have come out or dislodge? I would have some cramping or something, right? I soooooo do not want to be pregnant until the girls are AT LEAST in kindergarten.
Re: IUD Q?
I'm a mess right now.
I don't think you need to go to the ER unless you are in pain. My doctor assured me that if the IUD had perforated my uterus, I would be in a lot of pain. That also only generally happens (and rarely at that) immediately after insertion. If it were me, I'd use condoms until I got home and then go to my GYN to have my placement checked.
