sigh, 1st house showing on Monday
This does not make me happy. I want the house to sell eventually but not right now. I am still paying down medical debt (it will be paid off in February) and I am still trying to find an agreement with idiot stbx. If the house was to sell and people would move in in december, I have no idea where to go and most important, I can't even afford a freaking $500 rent with my medical debt.
Also, I need to have my resume professionally done. Did you use or do you know anyone who used those services online? Can you recommend a company? Thanks.

It takes longer than that to sell a house. You'll be fine. Even if they make an offer today, you wouldn't go to closing for weeks.
EDIT: You can also write in the agreement you don't close until Jan. or you could even write in you need to stay until XXX date and then when you close, pay them rent.
I agree with TotZiens, ask the lawyer about an agreement to restrict the closing date.
I'd look at your resume if you want. I know it's not your field but I look at hundreds a week and would be happy to give you some comments.
