I have a vent!

It is somewhat silly but something that makes me nuts.

No one, I repeat no one in my family besides my Dad and brother can spell E's name right. My Dad has the same name but with a "c" instead of a "k".

These are the spellings we get on things.

"Eric"- dad's name even though every one knows they are spelled different.

"Erick"

"Erich"

I don't think its that much to ask that my husband's name be spelled correctly! For crying out loud my name in Afton and they all get that one right.

Thank you. And its not like you or my husband have difficult names.

I've had mine misspelled a million times but I have a weird name so it doesn't bother me. Its just that E's is so simple, it shouldn't be so hard.

Anyways. How are you feeling these days Mango? Is Miss E getting excited to have a sister?

  • I am massive and uncomfortable, but trying to savor the time left with DD as an only child. She is getting smothered in kisses, hugs, and random bouts of me tearing up over how big she is. Lol.I don't think she understands at all what is going to be happening in the next few weeks, but when she isn't jumping all over my belly she is very sweet. She will randomly come up and lift up my shirt and kiss my belly. She does her fair share of patting and rubbing too. Today she came upto me and patted me while saying "beb?" (she totally says it with a Spanish accent too) and gave a little hug it was so cute!

This is so so sweet.  And I didn't even realize how close you were when I asked how you were feeling, I can only imagine the massive and uncomfortable feeling. But she will be here before you know it!

  • There are relatives in H's own family that spells his name wrong.

  • I can count on my mom's step-dad and my step-dad's mom (follow that?) to spell my name Lacy on every single card, check, present, etc.

The same two people also always spell my sister's name Chelsea.

  • Oh and my own dad didn't even know/realize my middle name had an "e" at the very end of it. It's not acommon way of spelling it but I finally called him out on it when I was like 13, I even whipped out my birth certificate because he didn't believe me.
