It's Monday and waking up is hard to do. What's your choice of morning drink to get you going?

  • Coffee with almond milk. I have one cup and then drink green tea the rest of the day at work.
  • Water. I don't drink coffee at all (I've never tried it) and only drink pop a few times a week.   I've never wanted to be reliant on something to 'get me going' in the morning.  I'm by no means a morning person but this has worked out for me.

  • I have some peach iced tea at home with breakfast, then end up getting a decaf coffee on my walk to work. I can't have a lot of caffeine anymore, but I still like the taste of coffee. On Fridays I'll treat myself to a latte, but it's always decaf.

  • I drink coffee in the morning, but not really because I need it, more so because I like it.  I have my 16 oz travel mug through the morning and then drink (lots of) water through the rest of the day!

  • I usually do a hot cocoa or apple cider in the morning. In the summer, I do milk, sometimes flavored strawberry or chocolate. I then drink mostly water all day. If I drink a coffee, it's usually because I'm really dragging, but I can't do caffeine. It usually just makes my stomach hurt or my heart race too much.

  • I try to not really drink caffeinated things. Ever now and again I'll have a cup of coffee in the morning. It just has to have some kind of flavored creamer.

    Other than that I'll drink ginger ale.

  • I always have a cup of coffee at home in the morning with creamer (pumpkin spice this morning). After I get to work I either drink tea or water.

  • Another non coffee drinker, however my go to drink is Diet Pepsi.  It is my secret addiction, however I am working on drinking more water. If I ever want to shed this weight, I need more water in my life.  I have had 1 DP today, and am now working on my first water of the day.

  • I usually drink a Spark it's a multivitamin energy drink. I feel like I have less brain farts in the morning when I drink it.

  • I usually just drink juice (cranberry, apple or pom) first thing in the morning.  I've never needed caffeine to get me going, although I have been drinking green tea once I get to work, more because I like the warmth.

  • I don't drink coffee and also try to avoid caffeine. I generally start out my day with water and occasionally green tea. Although as I type this I'm drinking a Coke. I'm completely exhausted today and knew that I'd need something caffeinated to get me going. 
  • I like the taste of coffee, but honestly I rarely ever make it as I seem to be immune to the effects of caffeine. I'd rather make a fruit smoothie with almond milk and protein powder thrown in. Ice cold drinks wake me up.

  • Diet coke. As crazy as it sounds I drink caffine free diet coke so I am not sure why I think I have to one first thing in the morning.

  • It totally depends on the day for me.  I generally stick with water while I get ready in the morning.  If I'm extra tired I'll grab a latte on my way into work.  There's a Starbucks in my building.  It's really a blessing and a curse.  I've been trying to avoid caffeine while TTC, but TOM just showed up this morning, so I am treating myself.

  • 2 cups of coffee (sometimes 3 if it's a really rough morning) with soy creamer.  Also tons of water all day.  I'm honestly dreading giving up coffee if/when I'm pregnant.
