Tell us your goals again for the remainder of 2011: Stick to my half marathon plan, try to eat better and count calories.
How was last week? If you had a plan, did you stick to it? Not so great. I hardly did any of my planned exercises. My eating wasn't too horrible though.
Any AWs from last week? I ran 7.5 miles yesterday!!
Problems/struggles from last week? The time change is going to totally mess up my evening running. I don't like running when it's dark. Guess I'll be using the treadmill at the gym more often.
Fitness and/or eating plan for this week? M: Legs/Back strength training. T: 3 mile run. W: Arms/Shoulders strength training. Thurs: Rest day. Friday: 11k race! Sat: Rest. Sun: Rest or Crosstrain.
Any tips or new discoveries? I'm discovering that the longer my long runs get on the weekends, the harder it is to get out the door and start them. It really sucks to start running and realize you still have 7 miles left. But, of course, once you finish those 7 miles, it's totally worth it!

How was last week? If you had a plan, did you stick to it? Horrible. I went to the gym a grand total of 1x, and found out they sold all of our memberships to a different gym! It might not be a bad thing, though. The new gym looks nice, and offers a lot of classes. I'm going to try and go today.
Any AWs from last week? Not really.
Problems/struggles from last week? Just finding the motivation. My job is pretty stressful lately, so when I get home, I just want to veg out.
Fitness and/or eating plan for this week? I bought healthy sandwich stuff and some Special K for dinner this week. I don't want to go into full-on diet mode, but I think this'll be a step in the right direction. My fitness goal is to go to 3 classes at the new gym this week. I bought two cute skirts at the outlet on Saturday, so I'm hoping they'll help motivate me to lose a few lbs.
Any tips or new discoveries? Nope.
Other comments? I made and consumed a nutella mug cake last night. It was delicious, y'all, but I think it was about 1000 calories.
How was last week? If you had a plan, did you stick to it? Not bad, I did stick to it. I intended to run three days and I did that.
Any AWs from last week? Nah, not really. I figured out how far I'm going (about 2 miles at this point) but it's not running the whole time, so I am not feeling like I should brag at this point.
Problems/struggles from last week? I agree about the daylight savings thing...that's a challenge. I'm going to have to run before I go home rather than after I go home, because I won't have daylight otherwise.
Fitness and/or eating plan for this week? This will be kind of a busy week, dinner-wise, so I'll have to be careful. Still continuing to bring my lunch every day, though, which is much cheaper and healthier.
Any tips or new discoveries? Nope.
Other comments? Nope.
Tell us your goals for the remainder of 2011:Lose 1-2 pounds a week and CrossFit a minimum of 3 times per week.
How was last week? If you had a plan, did you stick to it? My plan was to CrossFit 3 times last week (which I did) and go to WW Tuesday night (which I did). So, yes!
Any AWs from last week? I lost 2.8lbs at my weigh in, however I hadn't weighed in in over a month. I also smoked a WOD last week and then followed it up with 60 45# back squats.
Problems/struggles from last week? EATING. As always. I love food too much.
Fitness and/or eating plan for this week? I set small and large goals for myself last night for every 5 pounds I lose. They include things like a massage, new workout clothes, bathing suit and when I reach my goal weight I'm going to get boudoir pictures taken. I'm REALLY excited about that.
I am going to CrossFit 3 times again this week, go to WW Tuesday evening and stick to my points this week!!
Any tips or new discoveries? I found some yummy flax seed bread at Whole Foods that is 2 pts/slice and it's delicious. I also found all beef grass fed hot dogs and they're sooo yummy. They were 3 pts each.
Tell us your goals for the remainder of 2011: I didn't participate last week, but I'm going to jump in (if that's ok). I'd like to just try to not eat as many sweets, especially through the holidays. I also want to maintain a decent workout schedule and I wouldn't mind dropping around 5-7 lbs to get to where I'm pretty happy.
How was last week? If you had a plan, did you stick to it? I injured my foot and so I haven't been "allowed" to run. This has killed my motivation to do much of anything. I'm finally feeling better and will probably be cleared to get back in it in the next couple of weeks.
Any AWs from last week? I haven't been craving sweets as much. BUT I still continue to eat them... just not as much.
Problems/struggles from last week? Not lifting enough. Also, I had my share of booze Friday night, followed by more than my share of chips and queso post boozing...
Fitness and/or eating plan for this week? Well, I'm already committed to teaching a high energy aerobics class on Tuesday and Thursday. Other than that, I just want to get in some good lifting at least 2x and maybe shoot for one more time doing some cardio.
Any tips or new discoveries? I'm usually pretty regular with working out, and sometimes I don't let myself get the rest between workouts that you need to recover. Now that I have been forced to take a break, I see why it is important. I can definitely see a difference in the definition in my arms... It helps to let your body rest!
Tell us your goals again for the remainder of 2011: Finish through Stage 2 of NROLFW, gear up for half marathon training to begin in January. Maybe lose 8 pounds.
How was last week? If you had a plan, did you stick to it? I did stick to my workout plan, but it only involved lifting twice last week due to my schedule. Did that and got a short run in as well.
Any AWs from last week? I can really see my body taking shape and slimming up. I didn't lose any weight, but my go-to jeans were loose to the point of almost falling off. I can deal with being 160 and a size 6.
Problems/struggles from last week? Again, just my schedule. I really wish I could have gotten another lift session and at least one more run in. It was impossible, though.
Fitness and/or eating plan for this week? I lifted this morning, and will do the same Thursday evening and Saturday morning. Maybe a run Wednesday evening.
Any tips or new discoveries? I am totally drinking the NROLFW kool-aid. I LOVE lifting.
Tell us your goals again for the remainder of 2011: finish through Stage 4 of NROLFW, swim 1-2x/week, and kick H's butt on our quickly-approaching hiking trip!
How was last week? If you had a plan, did you stick to it? I did 2 lifting workouts, so I just have 2 more workouts in stage 3 of NROLFW. However, I did miss my 2 planned swims so my workout goals were 50/50.
Any AWs from last week? I only ate 4 pieces of Halloween candy!
Problems/struggles from last week? too busy...wasn't able to do all my workouts
Fitness and/or eating plan for this week? I'm out of town for work, so it's going to be at least a partial rest week. I'll probably try to lift Saturday and swim Sunday. All my meals will be in restaurants, so order a few healthier meals instead of splurging every time and try not to overeat.
Any tips or new discoveries? Not this week.
Other comments? I've been playing with the scale in my hotel room. Between last night and this morning, my weight fluctuated 1.8 pounds just from drinking water and emptying my bladder (TMI?). Moral of the story: don't get too hung up on small fluctuations on the scale; they're not meaningful.
Tell us your goals again for the remainder of 2011: Lose at least 10 pounds by Dec. 31. Continue to eat healthy and make lifestyle changes.
How was last week? If you had a plan, did you stick to it? For the most part, I stuck to my plan. I did all of p90x and ate within my calories most days.
Any AWs from last week? I am down 2 more pounds. : )
Problems/struggles from last week? I love food. It's hard to resist good food around friends. We have friends over or go out with friends quite a bit. I am getting better regarding food choices, but I still have a ways to go.
Fitness and/or eating plan for this week? Continue p90x, eat a higher protein diet within my calorie range
Any tips or new discoveries? NA

I have been meaning to do this. I have all these goals in my head. I know I need to write them down. It makes them so much more tangible. I REALLY want a new pair of boots and new clothes but I refuse to buy any until I lose more weight. The boudoir pics is a good idea too. I should have most of my weight off by H's birthday and Valentine's Day in February. Pics would be a good reward that he would also love.
Tell us your goals again for the remainder of 2011: I said last week I wanted to lose 9 lbs, but I think I have re-evaluated and really I will be okay if I just stay within a few lbs of where I am now. If I lose, I won't be sad though!
How was last week? If you had a plan, did you stick to it? not good. I had a plan, but I didn't stick to it.
Any AWs from last week? I went to WW even though I knew I would have a gain and I walked one day
Problems/struggles from last week? I eat my feelings. It's terrible
Fitness and/or eating plan for this week? I need to get serious about staying within my POINTS. I also need to stay motivated to walk/run even if my walking buddy can't come
Any tips or new discoveries? I need to find some motivation. I need something to work towards, and I just can't figure out what it is.
