I think I am going back to Africa!

Aaron and I and my best friend are planning a trip to Tanzania for the fall---to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro, go on safari and some other sightseeing. I cannot wait! My friend and I have both been to Africa several times but never together.

Right now we are aiming for October 2009. It is supposedly the optimal time to go, and DH and I were thinking of taking a big trip then anyway, after he finishes grad school. Plus this will give us extra time to save up!

You and Moody should come along....hehe.

Good friends climb Kil for their honeymoon.

On the off chance you want to stay on the Kenya Mara side when you go on safari, check out Saruni Camp www.sarunicamp.com.  Saruni is suppose to have opened another lodge in Samburu area as of June.  Not sure if it's open or not.  Saruni in the Mara was a wonderful mix between European culture (owned by a former Italian newspaper owner), first class service with a rustic touch, and a tribute to the local people.  The staff are the most wonderful people ever.  Absolutely fabulous!

If DH and I weren't in the adoption process, we'd plan a trip to go back for late Aug of 09. Alas, we hope to be occuppied with a little one!
