Two of my friends and I hosted one. It was SO much fun!  It was easy with the work distributed among the three of us, and sooo worth it, all of my friends had a great time.

Wow!!!.. You guys did a Really good job!!.. Everything looked really nice..wish I could have had some of those orderves. Overall, good idea for a get-together party for your chick friends! Luv it!

I am trying to round up recipes to post on my blog.  They were all SO good but super easy.

Love the idea! Totally going to do this with my sis. I'm a little confused though. (what else is new?) How did the whole favorite things item swapping go? I'm assuming not everyone got everything right? So did you just let people grab what they wanted? Thanks!

So, we went around the room.  So when it was my turn, I drew five names out of the jar and gave my items to those five people.  If I drew a duplicate, I just put it back in and drew another.  There was the possibility that at the end, the last person would draw more than one "Jane Doe" so in that case we just planned to have one of the hosts trade a gift or something, but it all worked out.  There were no duplicates in the end.

It probably worked well because we had a large number of people attending.  We had 30.  If you had just 5-10 it would be easy, and everyone could go home with everything.

I went to one of these and it was so much fun.  There were 10 of us.  So, we all bought 10 of our favorite things - we all spent between $10-$15 on each item.  It was so much fun.  We gave/got things from mascara to nail polish to specialty food items.
