Wedding Dress Preservation
Hello All! I am a newlywed in the Chicagoland Area. They say the 1st year of marriage is the hardest, but this 1st month has been amazing! I hope we stay on this course.
I'm writing to see if any other brides in the Chicago are have any suggestions on where to have your wedding dress and veil preserved? I can take everything back to the bridal boutique I purchased my dress at but, I know it is going to be super expensive. I'd like to use a dry cleaner or someone recommended even if it costs a bit more as I want my dress and veil to last forever.
The veil is my mother's, when she got married it cost 30 bucks to get her dress and veil preserved. When we pulled it out for me to wear it didn't look like it had aged a day. She did get it preserved in tinsel town so myabe that has a lot to do with it.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
