*butting in*.... I almost bought that crib but went with the Heirloom instead. I can not express how satisfied I was with the quality of their cribs. I ordered several cribs, and two from JCPenny before finally settling on the Heirloom, lol. I am them most indecisive person that I know

Oh man, that just made my day. I was so nervous because I have been researching EVERY purchase to death (seriously, I've been looking at strollers for like 2 months now), but hadn't spent too much time on the crib yet. But I loved the look of that set and when the deal popped up, I had to pull the trigger pretty quickly. I was worried that I really hadn't researched cribs enough, haha! So I'm glad to hear you like your JCP stuff!

Baby Bargains doesn't give JCP cribs a high rating because they will not disclose where the cribs come from. But IME, I could not find one single thing wrong with either of the two that I ordered from JCP. I can't say the same thing about the Graco crib that I ordered. Just be careful with it, they do dent kind of easily. DH has dented the top rail of L's crib pretty badly, leaning over to kiss her goodbye in the morning (his belt dents it)

That is the cutest cause of a dent I have ever heard of.

I did read the review in Baby Bargains, and it seems like they also lost points because of a shipping/return story - one woman ordered something, it arrived damaged, she called to get it replaced, but it had been discontinued in her color, or something. I figured it's something to be wary of but anecdotal evidence wasn't enough for me to pass on the deal! I'm a bargain hunter, what can I say?

Either way, I'm glad you ladies were satisfied! I'm excited for the set to arrive, even though I have no idea where I'm going to put it right now.
