Ok ladies....any thoughts, advice, vibes you can spare will be so appreciated.
I had my miscarriage and the final day of it was Sept 17th. The doctor told us to wait one full cycle to try again. So, DH and I didn't do anything. No charting, no timing, POM, anything. I didn't bother with any kind of contraceptive either though because I figured after 1.5 years trying what was the point? So,anyway, October 23, 24, and 25th I got my first post miscarriage period. It was pretty heavy the 23rd and 24th. (Sorry, TMI.)
I called the doctor and she called in a script for Clomid. I took my Clomid days 5-9 of my cycle. Starting on day 10 I started doing OPKS. I got a + OPK on day 10, which is bizarre for me. I usually only get one positive OPK a cycle, around day 16. Anyway, on days 11-16 I got positive OPKs as well. Since this was so bizarre for me, I took a Pregnancy test and it came up positive. I was in a total state of shock and hardly even believed it. I have no idea how I am pregnant 2 weeks after having my period?
I had my blood taken yesterday and the Dr. Office just called back. My beta was 673 and they want me to come back on Wednesday so that they can check for doubling. With my last pregnancy my beta was 257 at 4 weeks and 53 at 5 weeks.
I am beyond ecstatic to be pregnant, but also terrified. I did everything "wrong" the last few weeks. Last week I drank almost an entire bottle of champagne myself, I have been taking my prenatal sporadically at best, and I took the Clomid.
Sorry this got so long, I am just at a total loss. Please send me vibes that this is my sticky baby and that my betas double.

I'm not trying to say anything about girls that TTC for a long time, and I will never understand what you all have gone through .... but .... with that said, I am a firm believer in things will happen when you least expect it, when you just relax.
Congrats Sarah! I'm excited for you and hope that this is a sticky baby for ya!!

Sticky baby vibes!
And don't you worry about that alcohol! That baby isn't connected to you for several weeks still. You're fine!
CONGRATULATIONS!
The alcohol is no big deal, yo. I drank a whole bottle of wine when I took a pregnancy test at like 13dpo and got a negative. I'm convinced at least 75% of mommies got hammered before they knew they were pregnant. That's very scientific data on my part, just so ya know.
The Clomid is a bigger concern, and I get that. However, the SAME thing happened to my best friend--she took Clomid and didn't know she was already pregnant. Her baby is three years old and is totally fine. It shouldn't affect anything.
That's a great beta. Fingers crossed that this is it for you! Get in there for that bloodwork and ultrasound!

Bless you. It feels so much better to know I am not the only one. I felt like such an idiot. Plus, I have been worrying non-stop that I did something to the baby.
You can only do so much. My doctor's office always made me take a pregnancy test before starting Provera or Clomid. But, chances are, even if you had taken a pregnancy test before starting the Clomid, it would've been too early to get a positive anyway. That's what happened to my friend, too. She didn't actually find out about the pregnancy until the end of that Clomid cycle, and thought she had gotten pregnant due to the Clomid! It wasn't until she went for her first ultrasound that they were all, "Oh wow, you're 10 weeks pregnant, not 6!" D'OH.
