Randoms, anyone?

My husband is driving me nuts when it comes to cleaning.  I want our house CLEAN when this baby comes so I don't have to do it all the day I get home.  So he leaves dishes in the sink, his WORK SOCKS on the floor just outside my freaking kitchen, and goes to work this morning...This place is freaking spotless when he isn't here.

He got a text saying he is paying for someone to clean my house in the next week or so.

I just missed a call from my OB scheduling my c/s because of a work call that has been going on for an hour...with no point.  Boo.

I could puke at all the love for Michelle Duggar having baby 20.  She's selfish and irresponsible..that ute cannot handle another child.

Re: Randoms, anyone?

  • Someone cooked something in the kitchen outside my office and the smell is unidentifiable and making me gag.

Working out 6 days a week at 5am is taking a toll on my patience with DH.  I need help picking up the slack because I'm out of energy by 6pm.

Michelle Duggar is having another baby?  Gag.

This is my period week and I think it's contributing to my lack of patience with DH.

  • I think I have developed an intolerance for cherry tomatoes. Not allergy, but intolerance. I swear, whenever I eat cherry tomatoes (not regular, but then again it could be because I don't eat regular ones in bulk like I do the small ones) my stomach feels like pac man has taken up residence in my intestines, and I spend most of the day on the toilet.

I tried Wen last night (the cleansing conditioner) and my hair feels yucky. I don't think I can get on the "no-poo" wagon. There was something unsettling about slathering a mayo like substance on my head.

I am so happy I don't get the "when are you going to have more kids?" from my family and friends. Perhaps they all realize what an unstable person I am. After AJ though, I think I'd be too afraid, that kid is like a mini-adult. I am ready for all my besties to start popping them out though. (One is pregnant now, yay!) I LOVE the newborn phase.

YES! I thought about throwing it out here again because I enjoy getting fired up about it, but I'm too busy at work. My other randoms: 1) I had a tiny piece of apple stuck in my tooth hole yesterday afternoon. It FINALLY came out right before bed, and I can't begin to describe how happy I was about it. 2) I want to run they NYC marathon next year. 10% odds for a lottery spot are very low. Boo. 3) DH is home with the boys this morning, and I'm curious if he put them in real clothes or left them in jammies. 4) my birthday is Saturday, and while I'm excited for date night, I can't wait to sleep in on Sunday.

  • The Duggar's, so sad.  I'm sure they won't hear the end of it so I'll just stay out of it.

I'm finally better!!  3 weeks of horrible sickness and a dose of prednisone did the trick.  I am so happy to feel like a real person again.

My bday is in 2 days (Haven, my hubs is this Saturday!) and I super love my birthday.  FYI.  I feel I should be more upset about how old I'm going to be, but at this point I don't care.

And I leave for a kid free trip in 3 days with that hubs for our bdays and just YAY!  On a plane, with an adult and no kids.  I'm not sure I remember how to even pack for such an event :)

We told the 5 yr old about the pending trip and what he would be doing and he was ok with it.  Double yay for him (he's my worrier).  I'll get the silent treatment from the 2 yr old when we return, but who doesn't love a silent 2 yr old.  It will give me a reason to come home.  Can you tell my kids are totally on my nerves right about now?

  • I leave for vaca in 9 days and have so much to do before then.

DH took off xmas eve so we can celebrate with his family. This relieved a HUGE amount of stress that I was carrying about the xmas day celebration with them (as it will be over the top and TRU will probably have blown up in my house by then) and I like to be on my own that day or with our besties in the evening. Less stress. Because i know the gparents are going to go all out I want to give L gifts from us but know it is completely unnecessary b/c of the amount of stuff she will be getting.I am torn on this since we are the parents.

I need to have a wedding shower as we are on the brink of needing to replace appliances and all those household items you normally get as gifts and I hate shopping and thinking about them.

I have something going on every weekend from now till mid February, then begins sale prep.

It's starting to look a lot like Christmas in my house.....

  • I have 3.5 more days at this job and I cannot.wait for Friday! This week is already dragging.

C has an ENT consult tomorrow and will proabably be set up for tubes as he's on his 3rd ear infection in a month

    I have a big.zit that I can't seem to get rid of.

H just told me he finally scheduled an evaluation for Lasix, yay!

I am not ready for winter/snow/ice/dark early evenings...I drove to the gym in the dark last night, it was only 5:15!!!! Oh, and to all the douchebags that can't figure out how to drive even somewhat normally on wet roads - you made me late, which means that my trainer showed no mercy!!

  • Tonight is the start of my weekeend.  I even called in sick one day this week, but this week was a drag.  My first day was an emotional day, and it was busy on top of that, so I think that set the tone for the week.

I only get two nights per week with DH, and I am bummed because these week it is tonight and tomorrow.  I have class tonightand a party to go to tomorrow.  I know I could skip the party, but it is my best friends and she begged me to come save her from all her moms friends!  And I want cuddle time with her kiddos!

I haven't had a period in two years ( have taken the pill consecutively) but now that DH and I will be trying for a baby come January, I am trying to get my body back to normal.  This is the period from hell, and now I remember why they suck so bad.  Gross.

I need to go visit a co-worker in the hospital, but I don't think I am ready for it.

  • If you don't remember me, I'm the newbie to the board who introduced myself yesterday. Hello! (Didn't want to seem too random in the "randoms" post)

This is so minor but so many FB peeps are doing these "thankful" statuses and I'd really like to remind 99 percent of them about their pre-November status updates that involved tons of b*tching and moaning. Just keep it real, folks!

  • Duggars:  I am one of the few that is not hating on them.  So they have 20 kids.  They are debt free and do not ask anything from the government.  Let them have as many kids as they want.  I think the world needs more kids like them who are learning to live on what they have and not take handouts.  Also, I guess this doesn't bother me because my great grandfather had 21 kids and if he didn't my grandmother would not be around (she is the 21st).  In addition, you never know what great things one of those kids may do in their life that could change the world.  I think everyone should be more upset at the family or girls out there having kids and living off welfare and expecting the government to take care of them while continuing to have another kid after another.

Anyone else get frustrated when you look back at your pins and it seems like you should have more than what is listed?  I also realize that I probably didn't pin all that I thought I did but for as much time as I spend (addiction) to this site, I thought there would be more.

I can't wait to pull my boxes from storage and begin decorating for Christmas but first, I need to get the house organized a little.

I think S will be walking by Christmas/New Years.  He amazes me with what he can do and how he does not have any fear whatsoever.

Whoa she is preggo again? I guess I didn't see this. I hope this baby survives. That last one barely made it. I don't hate them either. Yes I don't agree with everything they do but it is all religion based and you know they are good kids. I am surprised how they survive though. I can't imagine the tv show paying that much.

The TV show pays, their books pay, and TLC (or Circle 8, whatever the production company is) paid to furnish their entire house, etc....

I don't hate them, they don't bug me too much... I just think it's slightly irresponsible given your last baby was a micropreemie because obviously your body cannot handle being pregnant that many times....I hope this baby makes it to term after everything Josie had to go through.

Was there proof that is the reason the baby was a preemie?  If all people stopped having kids because one was a preemie and had  difficulties in pregnancy, there wouldn't be a lot of kids.  I know some people do but each pregnancy is different and really it is trust in the Lord to keep one safe.  As many know, God doesn't give you more than you can handle and I understand why they do not do birth control, they have talked about it.  It was an incident with one of their 1st pregnancies.  Also, no one knows, they may be asking God what he wants them to do next and God may lead them to not have any more and he may not.

Regarding pay, they own real estate buildings as well.  Yes, they are probably making some bank from the show and other adventures but I love how they still live within their means.  I think for J&K+8, they began to live outside of their means and expect the show to run forever and now she is stressed with how she is going to care for the kids.

I think it is dumb, because they aren't raising them, the older siblings are. Have 20 kids if you want, but don't make your older kids take care of them. Seriously, what happens if she dies in childbirth? You know those older girls are going to be running the household, which I guess is what they are "in training" for anyway.

I'm not saying it is all of their income.  Again, I have nothing against them.  But they are getting kick back from this show, there is no denying that.

There is nothing wrong with having more kids after a preemie-don't be ridiculous or stretch it that way.  I've had sick kids at birth and I have had preemies (obviously not micro-preemies) but you can't tell me that after NINETEEN kids, all, according to Michelle, about 16-18 months apart, the uterus is likely taking quite a beating.  It doesn't take rocket science to figure that out.

For cloth diapers? I like CJ's stick in Oatmeal & Honey or something like that. We've also used plain coconut oil for a red bum. I guess it also depends if you are dealing with yeast or not

  • Robyn,

No I agree with you that her uterus is probably a "little" tired and no I'm not trying to intentionally twist your words and if it seems like that, I apologize.  I just know there are a lot of haters out there (not saying you are one of them).

  • I dropped my work badge in the toilet today.  At least it was before I peed.  Still, GROSS!  I threw away the cover and the string connector thingy, and I lysol wiped the crap out of the actual ID card.  My secretary belly laughed for a good 10 minutes.
