Let's talk tv
I know quite a few of you are active watchers. What shows are you loving? Hating? Guilty pleasures?
I am obsessed with Once Upon a Time. Just watched Sunday's episode last night and just get sucked further in. I am also loving Revenge which surprised me. That is really all of the new tv shows I watch regularly.
DH and I watch Boardwalk Empire. I grew up the next town over in Ventnow, so the story is one I have heard about for a long time. My great grandfather ran alcohol for Al Capone. Unfortunately, I already know a lot of what happens, so aside from the fictional stuff, I am already spoiled.
I tried to like the New Girl, but it sucked.
My gulity pleaures are: CSI, CSI New York, Tough Love, True Life on Mtv, America's Next Top Model, and anything HGTV. Oh and reruns of One Tree Hill, but not the news ones since Lucas and Peyton left.
Yup, he was born that way.

I'm absolutely loving American Horror Story. Also digging Grimm (although its only 2 episodes in). I really really wanted to like Ringer because I'm a HUGE Buffy fan, but its just so so bad.
My old standbys include Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Parks & Rec and Modern Family. Also can't wait for Cougartown to come back!
Oh I forgot about American Horror Story. I watched the first episode and liked it. I need to catch up.
I feel the same way about Ringer. I tried, but after 2 episodes could not get into it.
Always Sunny and the League are two of my all time favorites.
I never seem to watch the same TV as the majority, and tend to never give up on shows once I've started them.
I still like The Good Wife, Grey's Anatomy, and Private Practice. Desperate Housewives is pretty bad now, but it's the last season so I'm going to finish it out. We are waaaay behind on Fringe now that it's on Friday nights but I do like that show.
Hawaii Five-O is decent, and good for eye candy if nothing else. I know there's more that I watch but now can't think of them. Oh, Top Chef for the next couple of months of course--love that!
I'm really enjoying Revenge and Once Upon a Time, too. Revenge is so fun. We call it "Vendetta!" in our house, after the Simpsons episode where they find Sideshow Bob in Italy, and he has a family. (This *may* lead us to shout, "vendetta! vendetta por mi papa!" at random intervals throughout the show. Ahem.)
I also like Suburgatory, though the title is terrible. We watch Up All Night, but I don't love it. I do love Christina Applegate and Will Arnett, though, and we're convinced that we would totally be them if we ever had a kid. (The episode where she's looking for a mini van that Mike D would drive his kids to school in? yeah, that would so be me.) We watched the first episode of Homeland and really liked it, but haven't gotten back to it. I also want to catch up on Boardwalk Empire.
I watch Parks & Rec (see avatar/username) religiously, as well as Dexter. I also adore Mad Men, and my husband and I are currently going through Draper Withdrawal Syndrome. The only other things we watch consistently are 30 Rock, The Office, True Blood, and Always Sunny, I think. Oh! And when it comes back, we'll watch Todd Margaret, because David Cross and Will Arnett= comedy gold to me.
I am a huge TV watcher. I'm home alone a lot, so it's all I have to do after DS is in bed.
Currently I'm watching: American Horror Story, Once Upon a Time (love love love), Dexter, Boardwalk Empire (3 episodes behind), Modern Family, Happy Endings, L&O SVU, Grey's, Private Practice, Parks and Rec, Community.
I watch a mix of other random stuff (Sister Wives, Suburgatory, Our America etc) when I'm caught up on my DVR but I don't watch them consistently.
Some of my other favorites that aren't on right now: True Blood, the Big C, 30 Rock... I'm sure there are more. I'm still sad that Big Love is over.
I totally forgot about Up All Night. We've been watching it and think it's so funny. I love Will Arnett. Love. I-wish-I-was-Amy-Pohler kind of love. He can do no wrong in my eyes (I even watched every episode of Running Wilde).
Mya Rudolph, Christina Applegate, Will Forte... It should be better than it is. But I love it anyway.
I caught the last few minutes of this last week before Modern Family and at first didn't realize he was supposed to be her dad. Yikes. It totally weirded me out too.
My husband said the same thing about the dad & daughter. It grosses him out. I also like to believe they can be a couple, because I don't want to believe Elton is old enough to have a teenage daughter, heh.
And we watched Running Wilde, too! God, that was terrible.
Regular shows I always watch: HIMYM, Castle, Modern Family, The Big Bang Theory.
TLC shows I try to catch: Sister Wives, The Duggers
Food Network Shows: Chopper, other competition shows such as The Next Iron Chef (which just started)
Then there's plenty of other shows and reruns I watch to pass the time, lol.
I tried to watch Hawaii Five-O because I love Hawaii, but OMG it was so painful. I had to give up on it.
My regulars are Gossip Girl, Survivor, and Fringe. I'm enjoying Survivor this season more than last year. Gossip Girl I watch mostly for the clothes and the hair at this point since the plots are getting even more ridiculous. Fringe is my most favorite. It is kind of filling the hole that Lost left behind.
I watch Tosh.0 too, although I have to be in the right mood to laugh at it, otherwise I cringe and cover my eyes a lot. I'm watching Top Chef again this season but am not hooked yet. It takes awhile to figure out who everyone is and who to root for. On that note, I also started watching Next Iron Chef which is good so far. I like that I recognized over half of the contestants right away, so I didn't have to spend the episode trying to remember who everyone was and could just enjoy the competition. I still watch the Office but don't look forward to it like I used to. I am off and on with How I Met Your Mother. I have a lot of episodes DVRed but never seem to get to them.
Oh my...I watch WAY too much TV, and even more since I've been out of work.
Me & DH have shows we've been watching since they started....Bones, Castle, HIMYM, The Big Bang Theory, Fringe....and AGT when it's on. And we like Wipeout for a good laugh (at other's expense).
Then we have the new shows we are testing out, so far....Happy Endings (very funny), Raising Hope, Up all night, New Girl (I'm a big Zooey fan), Whitney (also very funny), Terra Nova (kinda scary for me).
Then there's the shows I tape and watch with DH....Glee (still haven't watch the new episodes yet), Revenge (love it, can barely wait for the next epiosode), American Idol, Cougar Town, 2 Broke Girls (surprisingly good and funny), Suburgatory (not sure how I feel about it yet),.....and my guilty pleasures, Kendra, What not to wear, Tough Cookies, DC Cupcakes.
And I miss the first episodes of Grimm and Once Upon a Time, but I'm taping them now, we just need to start watching.
Whew....I spend way too much time on the couch!!!!!!!
