Sorry, it's on my mind. I'm trying to get it all finished in the next two weeks.
So what are you getting your so/spouse?
Re: SO/spouse gifts?
A snow blower.
Heh... sort of.
We kind of decided that he'd get a snow blower for Christmas and I'd get a new bike. And then we're going to just do smaller gifts. I'm not sure what else I'm going to get him. Maybe some clothes. Or a book. I have no idea.
(I'm not very helpful, am I?!)
H asked for a new coat and a new pair of bowling shoes.
So boring.
I think I'm going to get him the shoes and plan an overnight getaway to a local casino. He loves to gamble and hardly ever goes.
Haha sounds good.
I'm not looking for ideas, just trying to get some conversations started.
A nice dress coat
Clothes
That's about it...he doesn't ever want anything.
So far I have gotten him a black shirt on sale at Target, a winter hat, and a razor. Pretty pathetic. I have some ideas but some I dont like so I have no clue. I wish he would give me ideas but he says he doesnt need anything or want anything.
Question - anniversary (3rd) is on Dec 6th - and traditionally it's leather. He needs a new belt. So would a leather belt be a nice gift? Let me know. Already thought about a wallet but he doesnt need one.
I don't really buy gifts for Mike. Since I am not earning money right now, I feel funny buying things for him. He has been hinting at wanting power tools. Specifically, a rotary tool. I think I got the name right. So probably what I will do is suggest that we go to Sears/Lowe's and pick one up for him.
After typing this out, it makes me feel really sorry for him. Poor guy! I promise he got awesome gifts when I was working. And he will get super sweet surprises once I get back in the workforce.
Charity: I think a nice leather belt would be fine.
Dh needs clothes as well and so do I. I usually try and pick up a few shirts. I have teased him lately that I may just get him a gallon of Bacardi instead though.
He mentioned a new wallet, so I had the idea of getting him a Lions one since he loves them. And there are nice ones in the NFL shop online.
He also needs some new clothes. Normally that would be his birthday (12/10) gift, but he just upgraded his phone to the iPhone 4S, which also means a big increase in our cell phone bill. So that's his birthday gift.
He also wants a big duffel bag to carry all his work stuff in. There are a few other things he's written down but I don't know where his list is.
My Profile
Cds and books. I also bought a wine areator a few months ago but now I need to remember where I put it. I also bought him a botle opener that he can put in his wallet, so I will probably buy some beers to go along with it. I would like to find a sleeveless State or Lions t-shirt, but I'm thinking that will be hard to find. I need to remember that idea for Father's Day next year.
