When/where would you advertise an estate sale?
My ILs (well, we) are going to be having an estate sale this weekend to try to clear out their house.
I plan to put an ad on craigslist, but should I consider anywhere else? And when? The sale will be Saturday and Sunday. Should I do a post on Friday and again on Saturday and again on Sunday?
I will also make posters to hang in the neighborhood pointing the way.
Anything else I should do?
Re: When/where would you advertise an estate sale?
Would it be possible to publish your Craigslist post a few days before the weekend too? I often check garage sales (and hence, I see posting about estate sales) during the week (towards mid-week) so I can plan my weekends early. Perhaps you could post on Wednesday or Thursday, then Friday and Saturday?
