contact lenses

I wear contacts most of the time, and it seems my eyes are often dry/irritated lately.  At my upcoming eye doctor appointment, I'm thinking about switching to a different brand/type of lenses... Any suggestions?

I wear the Acuvue Oasys- I find that they're very "breathable" and used to wear them overnight.

Acuvue Oasys or Acuvue Advanced with Hydraclear. My eyes changed a ton after having Ella and were so dry. After Jovie they have been so dry I can't wear my contacts for over 4 hours :-(

I agree with the others. I've worn contacts since middle school and these by far are the best I've ever had. I often fall asleep in them and they rarely dry out, even then. I never have problems with them being uncomfortable, even after extended wear.

I agree with Mrs. Reem. I'm a long-time wearer of contacts and the Acuvue Oasis with Hydraclear have been the best for me. They stay pretty moist throughout the day and I've been happy with them.

If it's a new thing that they are irritated you may try using a different solution/cleaning product for them. I had always used the Complete solution but since moving I'd had a lot of irritation and problems. I use CleanCare now and it's a little bit more intensive--new solution in the vial type thing each night. But the solution oxidizes and cleans the contacts really well. 

Just make sure to ask questions, a good friend of mine is an optometrist and she's taught me to ask a lot of questions so that I understand what's going on for my eyes and what's best.
