Have you ever been to the baby show thingy that you are (according to FB) going to tomorrow? I'm trying to decide if I'm nuts for driving an hour just to go to the last hour of it. A lot of the vendors sound like they are from southern NH, so not anywhere near me. I wish DH was home this week and then I'd be less likely to blow 3 hours going to something.

  • No, I haven't never been before. The place is right on my way home so I thought I would check it out. Sounds like a pretty big event. The things I have heard about  it: a store from NH called Baby Go Round basically sets up their store in the lobby of the place, the resource officer from my school is doing a car seat demonstration and some other store is having a toddler play area. Sounds interesting, but I don't know if it's worth an hour drive. I should be there around 2:45 or so if you happen to end up going!

  • Well, since I was ambivilant, my plans have since changed. But I'd still be interested to hear how it goes!

I'll be applying to get my married name passport instead since I just realized I need it in just over 40 days. Hello rush fees. I hate having no brain lately!

  • Good decision not to go! It was fun, but not worth an hour drive. Like you said all of the businesses were in NH and too far for me to drive to on a regular basis, so I didn't get much helpful info. There were some raffles to enter and some chocolate to grab, but that's about the extent of it! :)

  • Glad I didn't go then! You're closer to NH than I am, so if they were all too far for you then they'd certainly be too far for me!

I made a successful passport application trip to Portland instead and should have it back in 3 weeks (paid for rush so my baby brain doesn't stress about it). Combine that with a stop at Trader Joe's and Whole Foods.... sounds like I made the better choice.

    Thanks for the feedback! :-)

I hope the kiddo isn't kicking your butt too much lately.
