Why is selling things online such a hassle?
I listed some items for sale on our base site and can not deal with all the people trying to negotiate down to nothing. I've had two people offer 50% less than what I have the items listed for and I replied with a no because the items are already super cheap. One person said ok nevermind, the other countered back at $5 higher.
I can understand negotiating on large, expensive items, but we're talking about $15 here. Just pay it or move on.
Re: Why is selling things online such a hassle?
I hate when people put, "Paid $XXX for it two years ago. Asking $XXX." I don't care what you paid for it, you've been using it for two years, so it's rather moot.
Also, stock photos. Don't show me a photo from Target.com. Show me what you want me to give you money for.
I don't understand that either. Stock photos or no photo drive me crazy. If there is no picture I will not be e-mailing you to send me one.
People stock ours. It's bad. Overall I had a lot of luck selling stuff we didn't need after the move, but I did get stood up a lot and some woman paid in quarters. SERIOUSLY, you just had to have this picture frame for $5 but didn't have any cash?
We also had a woman post this awesome Walmart sale on our page. Walmart was selling a pack n play for $15 even though it was retailed at $100. A couple women tried to buy but they were sold out. The original lady came back on the site and started selling 6 of them at retail. WTH lady. Apparently she was trying to raise 10k to pay for work that had already been done to her house. ..... eye roll with a side eye on the top.
