I am bringing cheesecake to DH's aunts house for Tday dinner. I can't decide what kind to make. So, what is your favorite cheesecake?
ETA: there will already be pumpkin, chocolate, apple and custard pies along with a birthday cake.
Re: s/o Thanksgiving
Ah-fricking-mazing...and, again, I hate pumpkin pie!!!

Uh yeah I can't pick a favorite cheesecake. I love them all. I like the pumpkin cheesecake idea, but it might be overload if they already have a pumpkin pie. I also love classic w/ a strawberry or raspberry sauce. YUM !
Any of the above ideas...my personal fave is good old NY style cheesecake with cherry topping. YUM.
Didn't Lisa just make some type of apple crumble cheesecake? Care to share the recipe, Lisa? That sounded really good!
Pumpkin!!!!! Or maybe caramel or peanut butter or something.
BIL (my sister's H) is horribly allergic to caffeine and therefore can't have chocolate and he doesn't like pumpkin pie so every year his mom makes a cheesecake and brings it to my mom's house for T-day dessert.

I always make pumpkin cheesecake for Thanksgiving, but probably wouldn't if there was pumpkin pie. For Christmas every year I make this awesome Irish cream/chocolate cheesecake (with Bailey's... yummm). I got the recipe from allrecipes, here's the link.

I usually double the amount of Bailey's... it is so good and I always get compliments on it.
I always love a good plain cheesecake with strawberry topping on the side so I can douse it!
Lisa's apple one sounds good too!
