Re: moms who had epidural/spinal

  • Hey chica -?

    YES!!!?

The anesthesiologist didn't do my epidural correct. He tried 5 times before I received an overdose of the meds. I continued to feel that pain in my back until Mar was about 14 months. Crazy!

Hang in there ~ it eventually goes away :o)

  • Sorry I didn't get the pain. ?I do however have lower back problems that were aggravated during pregnancy and still continue to bother me. ?I have asked my Dr. if the pain could be from the epidural and showed him where the pain was and he said no that it is not from the epi.

Sorry you are going through this.

  • I felt it for a while, but now I don't.....mostly when I was cold, so maybe as the weather gets cooler again I will start to feel it.
  • I get that from time to time too. My boys just turned 12 months old. Hopefully as Brandy said it will eventually go away with a little more time.
  • I had a spinal and never had that issue.
Married 6/20/06~Mommy to 2 beautiful girls
  • I had epi during my 2 Csections and with the first one it didn't really bother me as much as after the 2nd time. Now when it gets a bit cold I feel this knot of a pain in my back which right about where they did the epi. I also have arthritis pain on my right ankle from the pins that are there....all this happens together when it gets colder....My 1st one is now almost 4 years old and my youngest just turned 12 months....warm compresses sometimes help ease my back pain...
  • Had my C-Section over 3 years ago and I have not experienced any back problems.
