Bad Form or Justified?

In late August I contacted an old employer from about 2 years ago to see if it wouldn't be possible to come back to work for her.  We were both pretty excited about the prospect and we came to a good agreement on hours and what not.  I started back at the beginning of October, but she failed to tell me that she was going to be moving out of state in the middle of the month.  This was sad, of course, but I didn't think it would change much because she's a thorough person and would make sure her replacement was aware of all scheduling concerns, not just the ones that we had agreed on.  But now that she's been gone its become pretty apparent that her replacement has no intention of honoring any of those agreements, and has been pretty dishonest in the process.

So my questions is it totally bad form to look for another job even though I've only been there  2 months?
