The office is quiet today, so I'm trying to gather up the energy to wander over to the Galleria for a much needed haircut. But hell am I tired. Anyone want to inspire me with some cut ideas?
I need low maintenance and have a ton of very fine, very straight hair.
Re: Hair Ideas??
Do you want to keep it long enough to be able to put in a ponytail?
I think so. But I wouldn't mind going short enough to make my Wen last a little longer.
ETA: And I don't know what's up with my computer. It's running so slowly that I didn't even realize this post had made it to the board until a few minutes ago. See? Even my technology is too tired to get anything done today...

side question, do you like Wen? I was on TDY and couldn't sleep and ended up watching the infomercial for like 30 minutes and realized that the Chaz guy was on that show Flipping Out, but it also go me interested in trying it. I was concerned that with having really fine hair it would end up weighing it down and/or looking greasy?
I've been using it for about a month and love it so far. Definitely looking forward to seeing the extra bounce I'll get out of it once I have a fresh cut - but it's already got my hair looking much better and feeling much softer without any added weight. You have to use a pretty good amount (though not nearly the ridiculous amount recommended on the bottle - I get by with about 10 pumps) and rub it through well, starting with the roots, but my hair is squeaky clean afterward and it rinses much easier than most other shampoos/conditioners I've tried.
Unfortunately, the bottle I'm working through now is the fig scent and yikes is it stinky. Looking forward to finishing this one and getting another. Maybe the pumpkin ginger.

Did you decide on a cut?
Sidebar: I am in LOVE with Emma Watson's pixie, but I would never have the nerve to cut my hair that short!
Not yet. I'll probably end up with my usual shoulder length layers and a bit more of a side swept bang. But today just wasn't happening.
As for short cuts - I went WAY short when I was around 18. Freshman year of collage was a fab time for short hair that I could dye a different color every few weeks.
But I don't think I have the energy to go back there now. At least not until I get my bone structure back.
