Sh!t! I can't believe they killed Henry - I like Altman

I knew as soon as they gave Christina that surgery he would die
I HATE that we have to wait until January to see what comes next, uggh.

I am so upset that they killed him.
I don't feel that bad for Christina though, especially after that, "I don't want this bad outcome on my record, it wasn't my treatment plan, blah blah blah". I love Christina, but sometimes her treatment of the patients as just a disease process or just a surgery drives me insane. She is obviously capable of compassion, maybe this will teach her to utilize that a little more.
Snow!

I really enjoyed this episode. I'm extremely happy to see Grey's get "back to it's roots" like it was a few seasons ago.

No! I liked Henry sooo much!!
I'm fluffin' pisssed that they killed Henry. Really? A doctor marrying an ill patient... and then killing him off. Sooo original. It makes me lividly angry.
Really, my anger is pretty ridiculous given this is just a television show.
Christina couldnt have done anything different even if she knew it was Henry. The tumor grew into his artery, he was done. Im so upset that they killed him off. Im ready for Scott Foley to have his own show that sticks. Poor Altman.
The ambulance scene was horrifying, but they sure did make it out to be way worse in the previews. I was a blubbery mess.
This season has been so so good. Im so glad they're back again. I watched the last two episodes yesterday and today and I haven't cried that hard at GA since the shooter. I remember when every episode made me bawl. That was good television. lol
Excellent episode tonight, one of the best in a LONG time.
I sobbed when Henry died, I really liked him on the show.
There are so many cliffhangers! I can't wait till January.
I agree with everyone else -- such a great episode. Super sad about Henry; that scene when Altman was chatting cheerfully with Owen (when she was still in the OR) was heartbreaking. And when Owen told Christina...oh, man.
Can't believe we have to wait until January.
I'm pissed that they let Christina take the fall for Henry dying. She may not always be personally invested in her patients, but from what she was saying there was nothing that could have been done to prevent it. Her and Altman just started getting along and now their relationship is going to be tarnished forever. How is Christina going to be able to work in cardiothoracic surgery anymore?
I thought it was an ambulance. The people laying on the ground all seemed to be dressed alike (medics?) and the fact that the vehicle had burnt up after Meridith and Alex had been warned that their ambulance would explode if hit due to the oxygen on board made me think that it was the rescue ambulance.

I totally didn't catch that and I think you're right.
I thought the same exact thing
The recapper at EW confirmed with some at ABC that it was a random car.

Just watched it.
I'm a sobbing mess as well. I love Scott Foley. Why did they have to kill him off?
What are Alex and Meredith supposed to do now? They can't help those people without essentially killing the baby.

I just watched this last night, so of course, I have thoughts.
First of all, I am really sad about Henry, First of all, Scott Foley is really fun to watch, and second of all, I love Teddy (mostly because I LOVE Kim Raver, but also because I love the character), and I am so sad for her. The parts where she was talking to Owen about Henry and asking how he was doing, and Owen was pretending like Henry had not just died were awful to watch because she looked so positive.
I felt awful for Christina when she learned who the patient was. I see what they were doing with showing how something can happen to make even Christina see that you have to worry about the actual patient and not just the condition. It will be interesting, at any rate, to see how this whole thing plays out in the new year.
I am also sad about Zola and what this might do to Meredith and Derek. It was good to see him actually express that he realized how he was blaming Meredith for so much in the past weeks. Even when they tick me off, I love those two together.
And as a NICU nurse, I am interested in what is going to happen with that baby and whether they are going to be able to get back to the hospital in time to save it.
Great episode! Boo that we have to wait until January to see the next one!

This episode actually didn't make me cry and I cry almost every week at Grey's.
It wouldn't have made sense for another ambulance to hit them--the ambulance would have know where they were located or at least close enough to go slow.
This season, I've only halfway paid attention to this show. I'll get on the computer or cook while it plays on our DVR. I don't rush to watch it either. So last night imagine my surprise- I finally got around to watching it and this episode got my undivided attention! There were a few times where I found myself sitting with my mouth wide open.... SO sad about Henry. Really sad about Zola as well. And of course the poor baby.
Awesome episode. Some sad stuff going on but really interesting episode. Thank you Grey's! I was getting worried.
