I feel like I should do something big and exciting on 11-11-11. I have no idea what, but it seems like a day where I should do something momentous.
Oh, I didn't even realize that today was 11-11-11! Fun!
Ok, so... my abs hurt when I sneeze. Badly. I would also like to add that no one should ever have to do the Macarena dance while in plank position. It is cruel and unusual punishment.
Boot Camp is totally kicking my butt, but I love it so far!
I have not been so happy its a Friday in a long time.
We are doing a secret pal gift exchange (kind of like secret santa but just for the heck of it no holiday association) and my pal got lucky last night. I was going to get a $10.00 barnes and noble card but at the register was told it had to be $25 or more, and the line was super long so I just did the $25.
I cant even picture that. I am so sad I couldnt make it last night between being sick and stupid car issues. I am kind of jealous that you went and I missed out

It was ugly. For sure. You actually had to do the actual dance, one arm at a time..and then shift 1/4 turn and do it again, and again, and again.
Don't feel bad guys, just come Saturday! If it makes you feel any better the class was less than half the size it was on Tuesday.
That sounds like the kind of thing my trainer would come up with. She has us try to sing when we're in plank, and keep rhythm by lifting and bouncing our toes. These people are EVIL.
I know there are a couple of moms on the board, so my Flame will make sense to them...

Chelsea, potty training is the worse. SD wasn't potty trained when DH and I started dating and it was a PITA because it took forever since there wasn't consistency between the 2 houses so SD was a little over 4 before she was potty trained and then she still had frequent accidents up until age 5. I'm not looking forward to it with this one but I'm hoping that since it will all be done at one house it will make it a million times easier.
Not a lot going on this weekend. I'm either going Christmas shopping for DH tomorrow or SD and I are taking one of the dogs to a rescue group reunion.
I think we are going on a double date tonight for Sushi!
I was thinking that DH and I haven't been out of town together since we got married. We use to do it about every other month during our dating years to just get time together and now nothing. I know it's because he works every other weekend and we have a lot of family and friend stuff, but has this happened to anyone else?

Happy Friday! Our I-phones are supposed to arrive today. I will be so happy to join the rest of you already in the 21st century.
Our 10-year anniversary party at work is tomorrow--I hope it's fun. It's a casino night which I don't really get into. I told Ben he may just have to sit with me while I drink.
Sunday we are meeting his parents to pick up the afghan his mom made us for our wedding anniversary. I'm excited to see it.

DH and I were planning on having a movie day, but he went and bought MW3 a little bit ago. I know he'll be playing it all.day. Kind of a bummer, but poor guy has been looking forward to getting it since it came out.
DHs work took us out to Papadeauxs yesterday for lunch. I'm now addicted to that place. I had a dream about it last night. I cant get over their Alaskan King Crab hubby let me try. It sounds so good right now.
I cant get that song by Rascal Flatts and Natasha Bedingfield out of my head. I think its called Easy. Not for sure, but its a great song.

Haha, I was the wife that stood in line at midnight last night for my husband to get the new Elder Scrolls SkyRim xbox game. soooo, we are having a weekend in, him on the xbox, and me on the sewing machine, making his sisters' xmas presents.
Tonight we are going to MarriedLife at our church, it's just this cool little get together to eat and hang and chat with other married couples. excited about that!
DH is applying for a job tomorrow - it's an in-person deal, so any ju-ju & T&Ps would be greatly appreciated. If he were to get hired, he could be on the payroll even though he's still in school, and that would be pretty much amazing.

Hahaha. My hubby said when he went to GameStop this morning, there were 10-15 people in line getting that game! He was in there for about 30 minutes, because they had to manually type in the credit/debit card numbers because their systems were down.
What church do you go to? DH and I are trying to find someplace to hang out with other married couples, and he would love that!
Thats awesome that you sew. I couldnt sew if my life depended on it. LOL.
Hee, Ben was at Gamestop at midnight too! Up until 3 am and is already back at it. I won't see him for a month. My daughter sews and is making alot of Christmas presents this year too--she already has the sewing machine out on the dining room table!

Tonight we're babysitting SIL's kiddos while they're at a wedding (11/11/11!). Tomorrow night is DH's birthday potluck gathering at our house. Other than that, I'm just going to be getting ready for my phone interview for the music librarian position at UNT on Tuesday!!

I watched him play the first 10 minutes of it, last night, and it looked super cool. then i crashed. haha.
We go to Heartland Church, in Carrollton, Tx. It's basically right off of 35E and 121. It's our little haven. There are tons of young people, and a lot of really open minds, which is nice, especially since we've both been judged before at other churches for having visible tattoos. We go on Monday nights (The Net group is 18-30 college and careers) then volunteer and go to special events stuff
And sewing is not something I thought I'd be good at, as patterns are so confusing looking to me. But, without a pattern, I made my halloween costume and realized I'm pretty nifty with a sewing machine!
