wedding album arrived!
Hey. Our wedding album arrived yesterday and it looks great. I was late in designing it/picking the pictures and did it a year after the wedding so it came now!! It looks great and the pics are clear!!!
It was kind of annoying getting it though b.c. the photographer had said I have as long as I want to design it and some couples don't do it for years. So I called and emailed her this summer and asked if I still use the same website and questions about which album and some about the website. (They changed their company's name recently so I wanted to make sure it was the same website.) She didn't get back to me. So I used that website and picked the longest (16 page) album. She emailed me a few weeks later and said that when I booked and paid for my package the only album they offered was the (less pages) album. I also wrote on the website I would pay for more pages and more spreads and she or the designer never got back to me about it, just the email about the album I would get. Also, I had emailed her and called saying we had moved 2x since we originally booked and wanted the album to come to the correct address. I called 2x and emailed once and she didn't get back to me for like a week after the last call and said that the designer hadn't heard from me but it will be shipped to the right address. There was never a way to contact the designer. I just clicked on the album proof, I approve or I do not approve. I was worried about her getting back to me b.c. during the wedding process I changed my email and she kept emailing me at an old email which luckily I could still check but never updated it despite me telling them a few times. Also, we almost had an issue over engagement pics location after she had told me before I booked it could be anywhere we wanted. Even DH thought the proof of the album was short. I am just going to design another album online with more pages and pics and I can use pics from guests, videographer, etc. The important thing is the pics are great and we had fun the day of the wedding. Life is too short to get caught up in little things, but I still needed to vent!!!
