I was just looking at your Pinterest... I think I'm in love, lol... what an idea... a central place to put everything you like!!
Anyway... was looking at the dog one... I just built a doggie "business" area. I have a dog run that is all cement so I went to home depot, got some boards/nails and wood chips... I'll post a pic... I was pretty proud of myself considering I don't build... anything, lol.

Unfortunately, it happened again on a different section of the fence. Neighbor's front yard, still our backyard (we're on a corner). Dexter walked away with scratches all over his nose and now he looks like Scarface. Neighbor didn't say a word to us. SO FRUSTRATED. We're looking into specialized training to try to help Dex cope with it, but I have such mixed feelings about teaching my dog not to defend himself.
But he's become obsessed with the fence line and always goes to the spot to try to see if the dog is there and paces, etc. - which isn't healthy for him either. sigh.
At least now with the kennel they can be outside and have fun together without me worrying if they are going to be eaten!
Awww..... so frustrating... It makes you angry, doesn't it? Why people can't control their dogs. I mean, I understand the frustration of being an owner when our dogs do something we dont want them to but when they dont even TRY... I'd be so upset.
We had this beast of a dog behind the apartment building at my last place and I couldn't even take them back there at all because he attacked the fence at my girls and it got them very defensive... ugh...
Hopefully you guys get something worked out soon. Hopefully Dex doesn't encounter that again.
