  • rarely - pretty much only when i'm sick/tired/hungry/exhausted/dehydrated. i can usually pinpoint the reason, no out-of-the-blue-headaches.

  • I was someone who got regular tension migraines in high school, but had no clue until later in college that they were migraines. Luckily, I rarely get migraines anymore, as in less than every 3-4 months, so that's a blessing. I get more regular headaches, but if I can get a good massage every 3ish weeks, it keeps them low key. (I have a jacked up shoulder/neck)

  • I'm pretty similar to KST.  I always got headaches, but didn't realize they were serious until in law school when I got the worst migraine of my life and was literally in bed, under the covers for 3 full days wanting to die.  Then I did some research and realized I'd been getting migraines (not nearly as bad) for a long time.

Now I get them probably once a month, but they're a much more mild version.  Since I quit my prior job and started working for myself I rarely get bad ones.  So, clearly the severity of mine are linked a lot to stress...but also, dehyrdration, lack of sleep, lack of food and red wine started being a problem too, so I try to do white even though I prefer red.

  • Mine are always able to be linked to something... Sinus headaches are probably my most common; I'm pretty prone to sinusy nonsense. ugh. I also get dehydration and tension headaches sometimes, too.

  • I have pretty much daily headaches since I fell last January. Before that I would get them about 2 x week.

Thanks, I need to go back to PT I think, I majorly screwed up my neck (oh and it was my 2nd official concussion...). I fell walking into work when it was icy and this is totally nerdy but I am getting really nervous now that the cold weather is coming back. I really hope they de-ice our parking lot this year

  • Similar to K and J, i got them in HS but didn't realize what they were until college.  That's when i also started getting sex headaches, which are way worse than my migraines.  I also get tension and sinus headaches.

Seeing a reflexologist has helped with my headaches (i saw her for tension headaches and migraines), so for other headache sufferers, that could be an option.

  • They are a part of getting my period, and when I had uncontrolled high blood pressure.  When they put me on meds, they said that should help with your headaches.  I said, hmmm, how did you know I have headaches (since I had never mentioned them - I thought they were a part of life? lol)  I guess that is a very common w/ BP issues.
