Do you remember significant dates?
I have had a bunch of people on facebook recently it seems talking about how they went on their first date with their now-husband on this date x many years ago or how they first met their SO three years ago on this date.
HTF do you remember that?? I have no idea the exact date we met, went on a first date. I don't even remember when we got engaged. I have an idea, but IDK the exact date.
Re: Do you remember significant dates?
I remember that our first date was 6/21/06. Closed on our house 3/21/07, engaged 3/21/08, married 3/21/09.
The date of the 21st seems to be a constant with us.
I can remember seasons. Like we met in the fall of 2004 because I was campaigning for Student Government. And we got engaged in winter of 2007/2008 because it was after college graduation. No dates though except wedding anniversary.
I don't remember when our first date was. I remember we started "going out" on January 29, 2002. We were engaged on Christmas 2007 and were married on October 11, 2008.
I know both of our birthdays but I can't tell you when we first kissed or whatever. I'm fine with it too.
Ha! That's how many people I've seen doing it -- I didn't even remember you had.
I remember the date he asked me to be his gf, but only because it was 10/10. I remember the date we got engaged, but that's because it was NYE. I also remember the date we first slept together, but that's because it was the day after 4th of July.
I think if these things had happened on more random dates, I probably wouldn't remember.
Since I don't really find it important to remember that stuff, I certainly don't. I can say that we went on our first date sometime in June, since that's when they always have the conference where we met, and that we first said we loved each other sometime in September because that's when his friends always come to Disney. But exactly when? pff, no. And if I said, "hey, it's the day of our first date!" he'd just go, ha!, so there's no point in making the effort
I don't have trouble with our engagement date because it's Pearl Harbor day and I always make an effort to call my grandfather on that day to thank him for his service. Otherwise I'd probably forget that too.
lol, goofball.. you don't remember the date of Cinco de Mayo... aka the 5th of May?
I remember when we said I love you bec we used it as our "anniversary" when we were dating. I know he proposed a few days before Tgiving bec my family was here for it.. wedding date.... and I can remember maybe 6 or 7 bdays of the people closest to me. Nothing crazy though.
