that apartment ? I asked
I know its been like 3 days but we've been running around like crazy. We found out that DH has a swollen achilies and so he's on very light duty stuff. But we did go to the apartment complex while he was home. There was a $250 fee for cleaning in our contract, but then they gave us this paper that told us about the carpet cleaning and how if we lived there more than 12 months we wouldn't have to pay it. Well the lady gave us the wrong paper. So they have to go to corporate and figure it out whether they could still charge us that amount. and I didn't think legally they could and the lady kept arguing with me and said that yes legally they could bc they already paid the vendors for the cleaning and painting touch-ups. I was getting so pissed off at her and she said she is getting written up and tried to make me feel sorry for her bc "they didn't tell her" so I just wrote them the $220 check and went on my merry way. I also showed her the state law about the receipt thing and she said that they told her about it and she got in trouble. I figured its not worth the time to fight with the stupid bimbo. I'm just glad I'm done with that place.
