Late November and December can be a really great time to list your home because a lot of people end up taking their home off the market during the holidays. Thus, your home should be showcased a little more!
Also, December is a great time to catch buyers that are relocating because it is the best time to move the kids during the school year. There's all those buyers looking for last minute tax breaks too!

Thanks for this positive note. All you read everywhere (even elsewhere on the boards) is how terrible this time of year is for listing.
I did notice one house in our development (that I would consider our main competition) was just withdrawn from sale at the end of last week so hopefully that helps us out!

I try to stay away or filter any mainstream news before it hits my mind/emotions because a lot is cynical and sensationalized. Take the facts and a pragmatic look at things, and you'll find that things will work out much better. Plus, you won't be as stressed out!
My mom always tells me how bad the real estate market is. The thing is, I am a realtor, and she is not! Haha!
