Good morning, ladies & gent!
How was your weekend?
Mine completely flew by again. Friday night we stayed in and finally caught up on the current season of Fringe.
Saturday we met up with a friend for dim sum then hung out with my family for the rest of the day, which was nice.
Yesterday I did end up going to volleyball and while I got none of my chores done, I got a lot of exercise and had a great time
I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

Re: Good morning, ladies & gent!
Sounds like a nice weekend, Rock!
Friday we watched a movie and just had some downtime.
Saturday we did house stuff (I"m going to be really glad when we don't have to say that every.single.weekend)
Sunday I had a birthday spa day--massage, facial, makeup, and pedicure. Then some shopping at Legacy Place. Dinner was takeout from Not Your Average Joes. All in all a good birthday
Our little Irish rose came to us on March 5, 2010
Don't drink the water.

Happy belated, Dr.L! Sounds like you had a great birthday.
I flew home from Phoenix on Saturday and got home around 6 pm. Yesterday, I did laundry, went to the grocery store, and cleaned up around the house a bit. I could really use another day off to fight this cold I brought back with me. (Especially since my office was closed on Friday, so I ended up with a 1-day weekend instead of a 3-day. BOO!)
I want to try dim sum again.
Happy belated, Dr. L!
We had an insane weekend and now I need another weekend. We kicked it off with dinner at Souri's Italian bistro on Thursday night as an early anniversary celebration. It was really good and we ate a ton of food. It reminded us of many dishes in the North End.
We had a busy Friday and Saturday between getting ready for DS's party and attending other 1st birthday parties, the football game, the parents arriving...
Yesterday was his party, which was a big hit. DS rocked smashing his cake- it was the best we've seen yet!
Today is our 7 year wedding anniversary, but ILs are still here so MIL is cooking dinner for us. And then they leave Wednesday, DH leaves Wednesday until Sunday for work. Friday is DS's actual birthday, Saturday is a birthday party, Sunday is another, then Monday we fly out for thanksgiving week.
Whew.
If you're ever in town over a weekend and have free time, Punky, I'll gladly take you to dim sum. I'm a good dim sum hostess and steer you clear of any overly odd foods while still introducing people to good stuff
Sounds like everyone was crazy busy this weekend!
Dr.L, happy belated birthday! Glad you had a good one.
5KC, feel better soon. I'm still fighting this cold myself but, luckily, it's been pretty mild so far.
Punky, Happy Birthday to N! And Happy Anniversary to you and DH! Your week sounds hectic but fun; enjoy!
I'm so sorry
Happy belated bday Dr. L!
Friday- DH went to Foxwoods with two of his guy friends and I went shopping with my sister.
Saturday- two of my friends came to visit for a bit and then DH, DD and I went to Portsmouth to meet SIL and her friends for her birthday celebration.
Sunday- we went into Boston and met my family for my mom's birthday brunch at Beehive. Poor DH had to drive around for over 45 minutes looking for parking and I felt so bad for him.
I'm sorry, LadyE. That sounds rough.
And Punky, happy anniversary! Enjoy all of the celebrations/craziness.
Oh my, I am so sorry, Lady!
LadyE....Big hug to you, sorry to hear about your bunny
So sorry to hear about your loss.
Happy Birthday Dr. L
Happy Anniversary Punky
My weekend also flew by. We had off from school on Friday and I had to attend a family wedding.. OMG... I needed a drink, and there was no bar.
On Saturday we drove home from Westfield and we stopped by Wegmans. YAY!!! I love Wegmans!!! I wish it was not so far outside of Boston. I came home and made Swedish Meatballs and homemade black pepper linguine. It was yummy.
Sunday I made turkey chili, and I went shopping to buy some supplies to make a holiday wreath. I finally stopped by Michaels on the way home from school today and found a new hot glue gun so I can actually make the wreath this week.
I also just found out that I will be teaching an early childhood music and movement class at Urbanity Dance studio here in the South End. I'm very excited about that new adventure!
