How was your weekend?

Ours was a long weekend with Friday off for Remembrance Day, so I flew to Vancouver for a few days to visit my brother and sister-in-law and meet my nephew Levi!  It was a great weekend and he's such an adorable baby!

Re: How was your weekend?

  • My weekend was pretty lazy. I did go out to the outlets on Saturday for a little while, and I got some grocery shopping done on Sunday.

But other than that I was lazy, and it was wonderful.

  • We did a ton of errands and running around on Saturday and then we picked up my sister from the airport and I had a wonderful time with her and her husband for the most part. I had to strike the costumes from my show on Sunday which was a bit exhausting and my two pups were a bit under the weather so it was a less than stellar end to the weekend. Luckily the pups seem to be feeling better today.

  • My husband recently bought property for hunting. It has a small 1930's cabin on it. We went for the long weekend. We also just bought a 4 wheeler to use on it. That was a lot of fun. We saw no deer this time. We took our two dogs (shelties) for the first time.. A really bad thing happened as we were closing up the cabin. DH put down rat bait. When he could not find his wallet he went back in and one of the dogs (my avatar - our ring bearer) snuck in and ate it. Unfortunately we were at least 2 hours from a city with a vet. We got him started on K1 vitamins. So far he is doing well. They say the first 5 days are critical and it takes at least 2 weeks to get out of the system. He is on vitamin K for the next 3 weeks - right during our belated HM. We will have to get friends and neighbors to take care of him.
  • I was super lazy for the weekend.  DH is out of town for a business trip so I just lounged around the house.  It was so nice!

Awww, so sorry to hear about your dog.  I hope he makes a smooth recovery!

Our weekend was exhausting.  We moved from our apartment into a house.  So much to do, so little time...
