Huskers beat Penn State.  I was torn on if the game should be played and how people would react but I think it went well.  We went to the game and most of the PSU fans were really nice.  I am so proud of how the Huskers acted before, during, and after the game.

I thought the pre-game festivities were very classy.

complete and total sh!t. oh wait, the first quarter looked pretty good, then we blew a 14 point lead. then we got a 10 point lead back, and blew that AGAIN. then our "top" receiver, who is a SENIOR, dropped the ball at the end of the game when it should have been a TD pass--it HIT HIM IN HIS HANDS AND HE DROPPED IT! 4 OT and we couldn't get it done.

Perfect! My Cowboys destroyed Texas Tech. Tech's only touchdown came from our offense when one of our receivers had the ball and it was knocked out of his arms by a Tech helmet. Our defense didn't allow any points. That is what's awesome.

It was a good weekend to be a Poke, that's for sure. We were firing on all cylinders on Saturday. The fact that we won 66-6 in Lubbock [and we don't have a strong history of winning in Lubbock - last year was the first year they'd won in Lubbock since the '50s] was just ridiculously incredible. If we can carry that type of play into Bedlam, I'll be in New Orleans in January.

That's freaking crazy.

And to the Nebraska fan on the board [the one who posted about the Penn State/Nebraska game] - very, very classy move. I was wondering if that game should be played, too, but Nebraska and Penn State handled it very well.

Missouri beat Texas for the first time since '97 (I believe).  Texas was held to 5 points so that's awesome.

But it was a thriller at the end! It was a great game to watch, I was yelling at the TV and compulsively cleaning the living room. (My H was at the game and he was hoarse when he came home from yelling so much.)

it was. I was cooking chicken and dumplings and running back and forth between the tv and the stove.

I burned my dumplings, haha.

Clemson beat Wake Forest, but not by as much as they should have.  This at least secured the lead for our division, so we'll be playing for the ACC Championship in December.  Our defense is young and inexperienced, so hopefully they will pull it together for the rest of the season.
