canvas print help

I need advice, because I've never done this before!  I am a calligrapher, and I wanted to make a canvas print of our wedding song lyrics that I wrote out in calligraphy.  Besides painting the text right onto canvas, has anyone ever used a company to turn a photo into a canvas print.  I see a lot of sites out there that will do that, but I wonder about the quality of the photo.

Thoughts??  TIA!!

Re: canvas print help

  • Well, I know you can use mod podge to mount paper or photos onto canvas. I did it with some art prints I bought from posters.com.

You just slather the canvas with some mod podge, line up the paper how you like, and slather on more mod podge. I think I bought the canvas from binder.com or something like that because they had the best pricing.
