Knitters: New Twist Collective is up

Twist Collective

Thoughts?  My queue is growing out of control!  I'm totally in love with Kyllene, Oscillate, Caprio, and Theano.  I would cast them on right now, were it not for Christmas knitting.

If I'm good, and finish DH's sweater by this weekend, I might just reward myself with a new pattern.  What do you think?

Re: Knitters: New Twist Collective is up

  • I've never seen this publication, but holy pretty patterns!

    Kyllene is really pretty!
I like Finial too, though perhaps a bit longer than shown.
I'd like Athabasca with thinner sleeves.
Midtown is a super cute skirt!
    Love Bellevue.

*sigh* I really need to spend more time on knitting so I can get to the point where I can actually make any of this stuff.  I've been so busy with other things lately that I haven't been crafting at all.  Sad face.

I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

If you liked that one, the Fall Issue had some stunning patterns, too!  Twinings is next on my list after (if) I finish with Christmas knitting.

I loved Midtown, too!  So many pretty patterns, not even close to enough time!

  • Why do you do this to me?!?!?  I already have so many things in my queue!  I've had this sweater in my queue and I even have yarn for it... now I need to decide if I want to use this pattern or not.

    *sigh*

Because I wanted to share the love :)  I have this same dilemma every couple of months.

However, Parcel is really pretty.  That would be a really good intermediate sweater--just enough detail to keep it interesting, but not so much to be overwhelming.

  • So much prettiness...

Well, on the upside I don't really have a problem seeing as I'm not at a skill level where I can even think about doing these yet.  And I'm too cheap to spend $7 on a pattern when I have a ton of free projects I need to finish first!

I'll just drool over the projects you all finish.

  • Thank you so much for posting this. I will now need to knit 24/7. But in all honesty thank you as there are some really nice patterns and I had no idea this collection/site existed. My favorites are switchback, yukimi and pinecote.

I really want to try socks and there are some nice ones here as well. Maybe if I get the DPN's I asked for for Christmas I will get a new pattern.
