Re: Clicky poll - pic options

  • You can't do #1 if the photo is wrapping around the canvas frame, because it's cropped in too tight. Your foreheads/faces will get partially cut off.

    Ah, good call.

I wonder if we can un-crop it if Tigers has the original?

I was wondering if that would be an issue for #4, and maybe even the other two, as well.  It seems that the wrapping would mess with the intended composition, and it might just look... off.

Awesome.  This is even harder than I was originally thinking.  :)

Yep!  I can see how I cropped it.  I'm suspecting I did because I don't think I did that on purpose in camera...  Sometimes the composition comes to me after the heat of the moment.  Just give me the file number and I can take a look at it.  It is 18x24 correct?

Yeah, I know.  Definitely would be better if I just sold them direct and took care of the cropping issues involved with a canvas but everyone is more concerned with the digital files so I haven't really pushed selling the canvases and I can't sell them for groupon prices :-).  As I always say, some day....

I can't pick one of these.  I like them all!!

  • FWIW, you can usually ask the company to stretch the canvas on all sides - that way the composition remains the same on the front, and the edges will be simlar (but blurred) to the edges of the front.  Does that make sense?  I did this with the bottom edge of one of mine and it turned out great.

I cant choose, because I love them all!  I think the 2nd family one would be my first choice, but or the last one of just T if you can stretch the sides.
