I have been thinking about getting Dominic?s first haircut, I don?t want him to have a mullet so it might be time for the first haircut. Where is a good place to go for that first haircut. We are in Ankeny so some place close would be nice. Do you have any tips to make it easier on all of us.

We just went to Great Clips for the boys' first haircuts. The one in front of Target seems to do a good job with kids. During AJ's first, one lady cut his hair while another kept him entertained with bubbles. They'll let him sit on your lap if you like. And they give kids Dumdums afterwards, which seems to work pretty well for bribery/incentive.
Tips... bring your camera, and an envelope to keep some of the clippings. And maybe Kleenex (it was emotional for me!)
