My company had a big Thanksgiving lunch and I plan to go back for seconds.....

Last night, we bought all the toys for our friends' kids for Xmas. I confess that I love going down the Barbie/Princess aisles and picking out which dolls to get. Lucky for me, there are 5 girls we have to shop for. Granted, only 2 are old enough now, but I know there will be at least one little girl to shop for each year for a while.

I confess that I'm not really looking forward to the holidays because I'm not excited about spending time with family.

I confess that I listened to Christmas music in the car today. I am annoyed that it has already started... I think it should wait until after Thanksgiving. But, "Last Christmas" by Wham!... I just couldn't pass it up.

 I confess that I nervous about having to cook for Thanksgiving next week.

I am not mad at this. We have travelled so much this year we will not be going to DC for Christmas. We were there 3 weeks ago, will be there for Thanksgiving, and AGAIN for a business trip in Jan. Christmas is going to be in Atlanta this year.

I confess H has not told his Mom.

I confess I haven't plucked my eyebrows in 3 weeks. Thankfully, I have a hair and brow appt. tonight.

I confess that I can count the number of times I've had my brows done on one hand and can't even remember the last time. As annoying as it is, sometimes having baby-fine blonde hair is a good thing.

I confess that I'm kinda glad I know more ppl that are having TTTC. It makes me feel... normal? Like its really NOT just us!

At a going-away party at work (female coworker leaving to raise baby girl - baby was at the party), my other male coworker mentions they're having baby #2. I'm all "good for youuuuuuu." He asks in a round about way if WE'RE having kids and I say we would if it'd HAPPEN (frustrated). He says "#1 took 2 tries. #2 took 5 MC, a round of failed IVF and only worked with chinese herbs and acupuncture." <--- my face. So, yeah. OK then.

 You can Do it! I cooked dinner last year for the very first time. It was hard but it was very cool to have finally cooked a turkey. My advice do as much as you can before Thursday as humanly possible. I had almost everything done so all I had to do was cook the turkey and reheat a few things.

I confess that it's my birthday today and I have been getting texts wishing happy bday and it has made my day. Tonight is dinner at Empire State South. I can't wait.
